so i drew this but some said it looked like shit... honest opinions please?

It doesn't look like shit. There are a few things you could work on. Making sure things look proportional, for the most part. But it's not a bad drawing.

That's amazing. Wow. Lol It is way better than what I could ever draw up. Sigh.

But If I could provide constructive criticism, The hair could be a little more flowing and natural looking, and a few extra highlights in the hair and extra shading on his clothes would help add to the realism.

But otherwise, super great job.

First thing I would suggest is rotating the picture by 90 degrees to the... right, I think. It would give us a good vertical look at your character.

I love the cape a bunch. Though, the legs are a touch long for my taste.

Overall, I think you've done a good job. Can I ask what brand of colored pencils you're using and the kind of paper? What process are you doing for lineart/coloring?
