Matthias sighed as he breathed in the scents of the small forest the smell of the trees as the light wind ruffled its leaves the sun shown down through the canopy of green onto the rough path Matthias walked. The songs of birds and insects completed the scene of serenity that Matthias was enjoying his light leather armor freshly patched from an earlier battle with bandits his hand and a half sword hung around his waist while his buckler was worn on his left forearm. The peaceful scene was shattered when a scream erupted up ahead suddenly alert Matthias hurried forward to find a girl being attacked by several burly bandits there curved knives out as they hungrily eyed there newest victim who wore rich clothes of a noble woman.

With a loud growl Matthias rushes the bandits drawing his sword and catching the first of the three by surprise cleaving his half way through him. Wrenching his sword from the collapsing corpse he snarls at the other two prepared for there attacks. But they have already begun to flee forcing there way through the thick under brush. Wiping his sword clean on the fallen bandits shirt he sheaths the weapon before turning to the girl.

"My lady are you unharmed." his voice is friendly and calming. The wind ruffles his black fur while his amber eyes examine her.
 
Amaya was a young princess who has tried to run away from the castle. She was wearing a long black dress that most of the men had rippen of while the tried to catch her. Amaya was happy she was finally save. Cause she was easily being tricked. " I am ok" she said again to Matthias looking him with her dark blue eyes. She could see how strong and brave he looked while she was thinking she could only serve in the wild if she stayed with him. Matthias carried her easily, "My name is Matthias you can call me Matt and you are?" he asked as he walked with her. The birds and Insects picked up there music as they traveled and Matthias became in grossed in the peacefulness of the forest again.
 
Amaya looked him with those cold dark look of hers," Thanks for helping me, I am Amaya!" she whispered again with a low voice, while she felt how strong his arms where holding her. She was still A bit afraid after all he was a stranger and she could never guess what would fall next. Of course she never told him who she was cause she was thinking maybe more bad thinking will happen to hear if people would find out who she was.
She looked the forest while it look too peaceful to be right, felt like something was going wrong. But she could now not do anything do about that.
 
Matthias nodded as she told him her name as he carried her along the path widened now and then and slowly an uneasy feeling crept over Matthias as he walked. The peacefulness of the forest began to feel wrong as it some magic had formed it unnaturally, "I'm beginning not to like these woods." he muttered as he stopped where the path widened here nothing stirred not leaf or bird. Then he heard it a loud thud and turning his head he saw the tall mountainous form of a troll and leapt out of the way of its falling club. With Amaya in his arms he couldn't fight so instead he took off down the path while the troll blundered after them.
 
Amaya looked at the forest that would take and more a dark form, as in a sudden she felt Matthias holding her stronger as he started to run. Her long black hair were waving as he run deep on the path they didn't know where it would lead them. Amaya was more and more trying to hide in Matthias arms as she saw they being chased. She hopped they could escape not more problem would occur. "What is these place" she said in low voice while Matthias was getting deeper down in the strange forest.
 
Matthias was faster than the Troll and soon they were far ahead of it the path kept going till it dipped down and then turned. "This forest is either some magic illusion or larger than it looks on a map." Matthias panted as he slowed to a walk still carrying Amaya. The path lead through a few twists and turns and dipped down again slowly the trees thinned and then disappeared leaving them in an open plain. The sun slowly began to sink in the west casting bright orange beams across the scattered and tattered clouds.
 
Amaya felt Matthias steps to increase with each move you could see the sun to disappeared slowly and the silent has slowly surround the place.The trees make scary and it felt like nothing was anymore close to them. Amaya locked at Matthias and started feeling bad "Just let me down" she told him now with study voice, this place is getting more and more scarier she thought.
 
"We'll rest here for the night." he said as he gently put her down, "I'll start a fire." he finished as he began to collect dead branches near the edge of the forest. Once the fire was lit and warmly flickering Matthias searched in one of his pouched for what dried meat and fruit remained and rationing it handed Amaya the larger portion.
 
Amaya sit close at the fire as long Matthias was locking for food she took a walk around and saw a small lake. She felt a bit dirty and wanted to take a bath, but she thought maybe later.She touched the water was not cold but rather hot enough. Then she wend back in the fire, when Matthias come back she eat some fruit, not speaking at him at all. Cause she was still frighten of the place and him. After some time she noticed that he fall asleep or at least he looked so. So slowly Amaya stood up and walked close to the lake, she felt as if she was alone. She took of her ripped dress and washed a bit the she hang it on a tree, did the same for her underwear. So it was getting midnight when the moonlight was shining on the lake as Amaya slowly walked totally naked in the lake to wash her body. She could feel the water slowly on her skin making her cleaner.​
 
Matthias was not asleep he watched silently as Amaya walked to the nearby lake and chose to follow he removed his armor revealing the red tattoo like markings in his fur which twisted around his chest, arms and back. He well defined muscles were visible through the fur he also made sure he had soap and the scented rub he used so he didn't smell like wet dog. Walking over to the lake he watched as Amaya walked into the water noticing how pale and soft her skin looked but he kept his mind clear as he followed her.

"Would you like some soap." he asked her.
 
Amaya took her hot bath enjoying it not pay attention that Mattias was fallowing here. She stayed long enough in it after clearing good herself she stood up and got out. She sit then on the ground looking the moon and waiting her clothes to dry up while she felt asleep naked in middle pf the forest while her body was exposed....
