The wolf, an ex-special forces from the military, sat at the bar. There was at least five feet perimeter around him that no one would get near him. Wolves like him were extremely rare, even in the military where they were simply a genetic soldier. He'd been discharged with honors for 'services in the line of duty', and secretly, any regular human would've been given the medal of honor. He wasn't considered human, something subpar, lesser than.

He had gorgeous black fur, it was meticulously taken care of, his own personal pride. To the touch, it was soft and silky, but there were no female wolves like him. He was a genetic clone, mixed with DNA splicing, a test tube with no mother or father. Bred for nothing but fighting in the army. Now that he was even out, he didn't know what was worse. Being in and yearning for freedom, or being out and yearning for something to do.

The wolf set the small glass down, the ice ringing off of the glass softly. The bartender, with a frown, poured him another glass of whiskey for him to sip. The bar wasn't particularly busy, but it wasn't exactly empty, either. His tail flicks slowly, watching the news on the war on the television in front of him.

She walked into the bar with nothing but a simple dress on with an a cut to the top to show off her rather nice looking bust. Her red hair sat curled against her shoulders and extended down her back. She had bright green eyes and fair skin with light freckles that litter her skin in various places. She walked in to collect her check and quite honestly didn't mind that there was an anthro int he bar. She walked up next to him and sat down next to him to wait for it before she looked over towards him and stared for a moment before smiling " did you just get out?" she asked him quietly while leaning forward on her elbows. She was in a dress that was rather louse on her figure. Long sleeves that hung down at the wrists, and a low back to it . The dress came up to her mid thigh but she was small in stature , wearing boots that came to her knees she looked like she popped out of the 60's.

The wolf took one look at her out of the corner of his eye and took a long drink from his glass. Setting it down, getting the bartender to pour another, the ice rattling around while the whiskey was poured in, it took a full minute for him to reply to her. "Something like that." He said rather vaguely. "And what about you? Do you always stick out as much as I do?" He asked, picking up his glass. His attention was on the television in front of him, holding the glass a couple inches from his lips. Still, his ears were up, and it didn't take a genius to figure out that he was at least listening to her.

Smiled while she sat and waited for the tender. Shaking her head lightly she replied" only if I draw attention to myself or if i am in a crowd of people with dark hair" she said trying to be a little funny at least to maybe lighten the mood. She didn't know much about his kind but she did have a bit of a thing for guys with hair and she loved dogs. pushing hair from her face she reached over and grabbed the bottle of water that always sat behind the bar.
