It was nearing Eleven o’clock on a cool Friday night in late September, temperatures were already starting to drop into the upper forties and Roxanne was just turning the corner and beginning to walk up the street that her house was located on. She had decided to attend a high school football game with a small group of her friends from high school, more like she hadn’t wanted to go, but the group of friends were able to talk her into it, after a bit of playful teasing about how she spent too much time at home with her father. The home team, The Wayne Warriors, had been playing a rival of theirs that had remained undefeated for the year, The Stebbins Indians. In the end, the Warriors had won by scoring a touchdown in the last few seconds of the game and the Indians went home losers.

As Roxy walked up the street and neared the house, her mind began to wander to what her friends had said earlier about her spending too much time home with her father as of late. “They just don’t understand how close we are.” Roxy thought to herself, shaking her head and attempting to push those thoughts to the back of her head for now. She found her mind wandering back to the things that were said, though, but they didn’t hold her attention long because when she was only a couple of houses away from home she noticed that her father’s car was in the drive way. “What is Dad doing home?” Roxy thought to herself as she quickened her pace a bit, now curious to see why he was home from work.

Roxanne had just turned eighteen about two weeks ago and was in her senior year of high school. She had beautiful chocolate colored, curly hair that was long, layered and stopped somewhere in the middle of her back. Her eyes were this stunning Emerald color and she had radiant sun kissed skin that helped to bring out her eyes even more. She had her ears pierced once with small golden hoops and around her neck was a gold chain with a wolf paw hanging from it. On her right hand ring finger was her white gold class ring, it had the year 2011 on one side and the school name engraved on the other side. In the middle sat a beautiful Sapphire gem. Tonight she was wearing a pair of dark blue stonewashed jeans that looked as if they were beginning to thin at the knees and a black ‘Shinedown’ t-shirt that looked to be a bit too big on her. Over that she was just wearing a plain dark blue jacket and on her feet was a pair of black and Ice Blue colored sneakers.

Upon getting to the house she made her way up the drive way and up to the porch. Roxanne then took her house key out of her pocket and used it to unlock the door before entering. Behind her she quietly closed the door, unsure if her father might just not be feeling good and maybe upstairs napping. “Dad,” Roxy called out, trying to act like everything was okay as she waited a reply. Although, knowing him, as soon as he laid eyes on her he would be able to tell that something was bothering her.

James was on a date with the most gorgeous girl in the entire time as far as he was concerned. Her emerald eyes seemed to pierce through his soul. Even over dinner, he could feel the electricity between them. James was dressed in black slacks and a very nice button-up shirt. Beneath it was a white t-shirt. He ran his fingertips over his scruffy chin while she told him about her life and how she needed a man to fulfill her desires. She was around 37 years old and James knew he could do a great deed to those urges. James continued to play things cool, though, because he didn't want to come off as a selfish man. They ate steak at a ritzy restaurant and laughed about the good times.

Suddenly, in the middle of the dinner, he felt her stocking-covered foot slip loose and slid up his leg sensually. The man was around six feet tall with dark brown hair. He had gorgeous brown eyes that some would call "bedroom eyes." He gulped lightly as her foot moved higher. She wanted his body and he could feel it. A woman of her age had particular urges that she needed to capitalize on before her youthful beauty faded by the wayside. When they finished their meal, James paid and tipped the waiter, then he walked out to his car with her. He opened the door of the restaurant for her, then the door to his car. James was so courteous to her, as he had tried to be with every woman since Roxanne's mother died around a decade ago. Usually chicks dug the whole single father of one daughter thing.

He started up the car and he began to drive back to her apartment. His heart was racing and his body burned with intense passion. Sure enough, when he pulled into the parking lot, she was all over him. She kissed him passionately and ran her fingertips over his body passionately. His heart raced, his manhood throbbed, and his entire being rattled with intense pleasure. His kisses were hungry and his hands were firm, but slow and steady. He felt her hand slide down and she was soon holding his length in her hand. His eyes widened, his hips bucked, his breath caught in his throat, and then it was over. She pulled away and began crying. "J-James, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I-It's not you...it's me."

Then it was over. That fast. As if it were a dream, James sat in the recliner in the white undershirt and his boxers. He had a beer in hand and he sipped it slowly. It was never him. Never. Suddenly, his senses were ignited by the sudden entrance of his daughter. "Hey there, honey. How did you enjoy the game?" Yeah, he was home early. He didn't really want to explain to her what went wrong with this date because he honestly wasn't sure. James took another swig of his beer, then he locked eyes with hers. He instantly noted the symptoms of something being wrong. "What's wrong, honey? Do I need to go beat some boy's ass?" He smiled sweetly, hoping to make her laugh a bit.

While she awaited a response from her father she entered the living room and upon seeing her father sitting in the recliner, she found that a part of her was glad that he wasn't upstairs in bed. “The game was pretty good, the home team won.” Roxanne said with a shrug before unzipping her jacket and taking a seat on the couch. As she looked over at her father and hoped that he didn’t notice something was wrong, she noticed that he was in his undershirt and boxers. As she waited for her father to pick up on something being wrong, which she knew he would as soon as he got a decent look at her, she thought it was better not to ask what he was doing home early. Most people thought she didn’t ask about the women he went on dates with because she didn’t care about her father, but if you were to spend time with the two it became obvious fairly quick that Roxanne cared about James. She just didn’t care who he ended up with as long as he was happy, the lucky woman treated him right and as long as the woman didn’t try to replace her mother.

Roxanne continued to watch her father as he took another swig of his beer; anxiously waiting for him to ask her what was wrong. Then, when he locked eyes with her before noticing the symptoms that showed something was wrong, Roxanne wasn’t at all surprised when he asked her what was wrong. Roxy shook her head and allowed her eyes to wander down to the red carpeted floor before answering him. “I’m just thinking about something the girls said earlier.” Roxanne explained, hoping that James would be satisfied with the answer she gave him and leave the subject alone. Besides, he looked like he had had a rough night already and she didn’t want to add to it by having to explain, in detail, the things her friends had said.
