Julie smiled as she made her way from the bus stop in her neighborhood to her house. It had been a long week and she was looking forward to the long weekend ahead. Julie had managed to finish most of her work at school doing study hall, so that would mean she could spend the whole weekend relaxing and just having fun. She skipped happily to her house, 513 Apricot Valley Drive, and pulled the key from her pocket before unlocking the door.

"Hey! I'm home!" She called out cheerily into the house. Though she hadn't seen any cars in their drive-way, the garage door was closed and one of her parents, or her older brother, could have parked in there. It was close to 4:30 in the afternoon so someone should have been home to greet her. Julie kicked off her shoes and tossed her bag on the floor by the door after closing it and made her way to the kitchen for a snack.
