I'm looking for a particular plot,
That came across as dreamed thought,
whilst nestled one night snug in my bed,
This little tale unfolded inside my head.
Haha, wow, that was corny. Anywho, the moral of the story is, I
had a dream! And it was awesome. The story in my dream was kinda
cool so I wanna rp it! So here goes nothing.
The setting is a world I've called Lunier. It has four
continents, home to different races.
The first is Althier. Altherians are sorcerers (mostly), and
their whole lives are rooted in the magicks of fire, wind,
earth, and water. They use a little bit of technology, but not a
lot.
Physical Characteristics are: Light skin, dark colored hair, and
blue, violet, or green eyes. Their builds depend, but many opt
to train physically as well as training their magicks.
The second is Delthier. Deltherians are elves. They use magic,
but only plant and fauna magic. They are a naturalistic race,
that scorns the use of technology.
Physical Characteristics are: Dark skin, ranging from tan to
very dark, very light hair, blond to platinum blonde, to even
silver, and crimson eyes. Elves are lean, tall, and elegant.
They have pointed ears.
The third is Terathier. Teratherians are human. The possess no
magic, but are very industrious. They not only use technology,
but embrace it. Most everything in the lives of humans is done
with technology.
Physical Characteristics are: Varied. Humans are sort of the
melting pot of all other races. When other races bred betwixt
each other so much that the defining characteristics of that
race were muted, those became the first humans. They can have
any number of traits, and a few have spawed just from their
existance.
Lastly is Sylthier. Syltherians are demon monsters. They posess
little magic. Only the higher demons use magic, such as mind
manipulation, shapeshifting, and hypnosis. Demons are ranked
using S-F classing. Higher demons are any demon ranked S-class
though B-class. All S-class demons have been sealed by this
point. Lower demons possess no magic, little in the ways of
intelligence, and are mainly about overwhelming an opponent with
brute force.
Physical Characteristics: Fangs, horns, Scales, wings, tales,
multiple eyes, arms. Just depends on the demon. They don't have
a humanoid looking form unless they have shapeshifted.
As for the actual plot, it's this.
My character is a 16 year old Altherian student at Brundle's
Academy for the Magick arts. She's a second year student, but
just started the academy this year because she's part Altherian
and part Deltherian. She was born and raised in Delthier, but
came here to learn and live with her father for a while.
Anyway, she has much in the way of problems controlling her
magic, becuase it's a mixture of earth and plant magic which is
very difficult to control both simultaneously.
Your character is a 21 year old Altherian male, whom, because of
his physical strenght and magical prowess, was chosen for the
elite duty of guardian to Brundle's Academy. Pretty much, he
spends his days defending against demons that try to attack the
students.
They meet one night whilst he's on patrol. She's out in the
forest training so that people won't make fun of her for her
lack of skill. He finds her just as she's in a bit of trouble.
After saving her, he reluctantly agrees to train her to use
magick at night.
So, their night classes begin, and over the next few months, a
connection starts to develop and feelings start to rise. He
tries to avoid it though because Altherian society frowns on
relations with a gap of more than a year because that leaves
less functioning reproductive time.
Regardless, eventually he gives in to his desires one night, and
they start and consummate a relationship.
The next day, however, he his chosen to head to the Altherian
borders and quell a demon uprising, and prevent a war. So,
before she even wakes, he rights her a note, saying simply that
he must go, and that they cannot be together.
Thus he leaves. And what was originally supposed to be a month
long trip, turns into 5 years, when war errupts, despite their
attempts to quell it.
He fights and rises through the ranks in those five years, only
to be injured in his right eye and partially blinded. Because of
this he is pulled from the frontlines and sent back to Brundles,
to guard it, as it has now become a refugee camp.
He expects to see her again, but what he doesn't expect is this:
When they had consummated their relationship, he left a little
more than a memory with her. So when he looks in the eyes of the
child she holds, he'll see his own face staring back at him.
Now, as for the things I won't budge on for this plot:
