Her eyes looked out at the dark night sky, the only light coming from the passing light poles that lined the street entering the base. There where a few whispers here and there but no one really spoke. Not a word leaving her lips. No, like most teens on the bus they knew where they where heading. Military School, in one way or another most had ended up on this bus thanks to their parents having enough or by court order. Her story was like maybe two percent of the rest. Step dad was a retired officer who had enough of his step daughter’s ways.
It was not her fault she did not like the man. The man that took her mother from her father thanks to a number of late night meetings, her mother winning custody after years of grueling court dates. No Angzyn could not find herself to show respect for such a man, her mouth writing checks she could not cash. Now she found herself looking at the main gate of this military base. Nothing but mountains and forest as far as the eye could see. Stopping only for a moment for a few Mps to walk onto the bus and take a look around before waving the driver to move on.
It would take only a few minutes for the bus to pull up to one of few large buildings, though for the teens on this ride it seemed like years where passing by. A few people standing outside under a light pole, the yellow light flickering every now and then. Making it hard to tell anything about these people besides the fact they where in military uniforms. Silence taking over where whispers once flooded the ears of Angzyn.
