Captain Virgil Gerrings shifted in his bed, trying to get comfortable. For whatever reason, he couldn't seem to fall asleep. He rose from his bed, putting on some black pants and a white t-shirt. He lazily dropped his hand on the door-panel, causing it to open with a satisfying slide. Virgil stumbled out of his room, walking down the halls of his ship. He decided to head for the observation deck. Again he brought his hand down hard on the door panel, making the door slide open. The window door was closed, but the light was still splashed over the glass. He could see his reflection. His messy brown hair, hazel eyes and strong figure met his gaze. He walked up to the command console on the left and opened the bay door, revealing the dark reaches of space. As he gazed upon the stars, he wondered if the credits were really worth the risk.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Good morning Captain." A distictly female Quarian voice said from behind him. Arms crossed she stared at the man through her helmet, "What is our ETA?" She asked. Besh, full name Besh'Rell Vas Jahnut Nar Emnet, was a very oustanding Quarian. Her sharpshooting prowess and arrogance gained her notoriety, and plenty of recognition on the flotilla. That is, until she up and left for no given reason then went on to join a petty smuggler, "I think we had best get what we're carrying off before Ren explodes." She told him, through her tone you could tell she was rolling her eyes. Ren Photus was their techie, an unbelieveably intelligent Salarian with a flexible enough moral code. He was getting ancy, wanting to tinker with the reaper parts, and he kept bugging Besh and Majora about this, and Besh was not at all amused, "If we're not getting there soon, can I just put him out the airlock?" She asked permission.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Heh, then who would take care of all the chemicals were carrying?" he said with a half-hearted grin. Although Ren was annoying, he was the smartest Salarian Virgil ever had the "pleasure" of meeting. He was the best there was, and if it weren't for him they would have died out long ago. Hacking Alliance computers, keeping the ship's firewalls up to date, Ren was an invaluable part of the team. From your first look at Virgil, you wouldn't think he could lead at all. But the battle scars that littered his chiseled body acted as his stripes. A veteran with an assault rifle and dealing with enemies up close and personal, he would be lieing if he didn't say Besh had saved his life on more than one occassion. "ETA is 5 hours. You should be asleep." Virgil said in a condescending tone. He didn't mean to be an asshole, but in his travels he's found that being nice didn't get far in this galaxy.

"Yeah, up yours, Captain, I sleep when I want to." Besh answered. She was of similar attitude towards kindness. All the time. Her hands on her hips and standing in what could only be described as an offensive posture. The suit she wore was a red-violet kind of color, considerably thicker than most Quarians and was plated with steel over her legs and arms. These were made at request by Ren, Besh sacrificed some mobility for durability, but that suited her fine. She turned on her heel and left, the door closing behind her.

"Quarians..." he muttered to himself under his breathe. Everyone thought they were so mysterious with their masks and body-suits. And how they were so fragile, a single suit-rupture could result in death. Virgil knew better. Although him and Besh seemed like they were fighting all the time, he wouldn't be able to do what he did without her. She wasn't that mysterious. She liked big guns and she knew how to fix things and take care of herself. She learned her skills on the field and on the Flotilla, much like other Quarians. And Besh? Fragile? Virgi laughed to himself thinking that. She was tough as nails, maybe even more bad ass then he was. His smile eventually faded as he stared out at the stars. He thought back to a certain job he had a long time ago, when he still had a rather large crew. It went badly. People died that shouldn't have. Even when he got the credits, his mind and heart were in a dark place. He decided that day that he would only do delivery jobs from that point on. On the outside, he was a cold bad ass. But on the inside, he blamed himself for everyone who has died serving with him. It made him angry. He hoped that an Alliance patrol would come by, he really needed something to vent his anger on.

"Captain," The title was said again now over some speakers, this time by a considerably less rude voice. Despite the crew having no ranks other than Virgil being the de facto leader, everyone reffered to him as Captain. None did it in a more sultry voice than Majora though. Majora, the Asari on board was an ex-commando, though her skilled lied in Biotics less than marksmanship or weapon handling, "Ren wishes to speak with you. He's getting all, twitchy and fidgety. In a weird way, it's kind of hot." She added. Somewhere on the ship, Besh heard and was rolling her eyes. Majora is a very blatant tease, and sometimes not a tease at all. She can almost never visit a planet without sleeping with something. Her figure is considerably more voluptuous yet thin than most Asari, and this suited her just fine. She constantly makes sex jokes and references, "Come down to the cargo bay when you can Sir. Heh, come."

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Virgil always got a good laugh out of Majora. Whenever he needed friendly company, he knew where to turn. And her biotics were matched by none he had ever seen. "Right away, try to keep your pants on eh?" he said back through the intercom. He decided not to keep Ren waiting. Ten minutes to Virgil was like ten hours to him. As he walked through the familiar corridors of his ship, the lights were now flickering back on. How long had he been in there he thought to himself. It didn't matter. He reached the elevator and went down to the cargo bay. The elevator door slid open and he walked out, his first sight was the piece of tech they recovered covered in tarp. He didn't know why he bothered with the tarp, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. "Whats up Ren?" he asked as he approached him.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"No promises." Majora answered and shut off the intercom. She loves using the intercom. Sometimes during long space travel when she gets bored she take it and just say innapropriate things, or pretend she left it on by accident and started mastrubating. Ren doesn't care and ignores it, and she doesn't mind performing for Virgil at all, but she knows for a fact she gets on Besh'Rell's nerves, a lot. Since they first met Besh has had a dislike for Majora, and the moment Majora realized she wasn't liked by the Quarian, she instantly became determined to one day, some day, sleep with Besh.
Ren looked up and stood from his seat which was across from the cargo, "Let me look at it some, find my way around, see what I can scrape off. I'm good at welding, they won't even know anything's missing after I patch up the spots I've taken out. It crashed anyway, broken, destroyed even. No one will notice a little more damage." Ren said in the extremely fast, almost overlapping speech of a hyped up Salarian, "Could be useful, properties of metal, apply them to exosuit prototype I'm building. Maybe figure chemical reactions, use in weapon fire, larger explosions. Certainly the promise of larger explosions will convince you, Captain." Ren appealed.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Sometimes Ren, I think you know me better then I know myself" Virgil said smiling at him. The second he heard "weapon" he had made up his mind. "Go ahead and take a look inside, just make sure it's all still together when we get there...focus on weapons first.' Virgil said to him suggestively. It had been awhile since Virgil had upgraded his gear. They had a certain sentimental value to him. He figured it was time to fix them up, make them more effective. His armor was filled with bullet holes, and his rifle was nearly in pieces. He trusted Ren, he knew his technical expertise would pay off in the long run. Even if they lose some credits because of his fidgeting, they'll make a profit not ahving to purchase new equipment. That is, if he succeeded. "Need anything else Ren?" he asked impatiently. He wanted to get back to his quarters and get cleaned up, they would be there soon and he wanted to be ready for when they arrived.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Nothing sir, I'll get to work right away. Upgrading weapons as first priotity, then work on exoskeleton. No one will know I've even so much as looked at it, I promise. Five hours to work, plenty of time. If you'll excuse me," Ren removed the tarp and looked at the almost unrecognizable reaper chunk, "Excellent, excellent. Understanding such foreign technology will be a delightful challenge. First thing I need is to..." He spoke to himself, trailing into technobable, no longer paying Virgil any mind.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Virgil laughed to himself as he entered the elevator. Once he reached the crew deck he headed for his quarters, entering the shower. As he showered his mind wandered back to that fateful day. They were to "acquire" a piece of Prothean tech from a bunch of Batarian pirates. They were holding out on some planet still trapped in the ice age. As he showered, his finger ran across the scars he gained on that day. He knew where each one was from, and wore them like a badge of honor. When he was finished showering, he decided to put on his armor. All black with a dark red trim, you could see that his armor had seen alot of action. He knew his rifle was by the exit bay doors, so he didn't bother going to get it. Instead he headed for the bridge to make sure they were still on track.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Majora spun the Captain chair around as Virgil walked in and looked him up and down, "What!?" She exclaimed, "You took a shower without me?!" She crossed her arms and pouted, "Unacceptable." Majora was an old Asari, almost the age of a matriach, and she gripped each piece of youth she could, refusing to ever give up her childish (and adult) antics.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"I figured it would be good pay back for your little PA show last week" he said with a grin. Last week she had left the PA on while she masturbated, acting as a siren to him. He searched for her, trying to find her in the ship. He couldn't imagine finding her in his quarters, and by the time he found her, ready to take her, she had already finished. It was a big tease. "And as long as your sitting in my chair...wanna check if were still on course for Novaria?" hey said quickly. He hated that place. A planet commanded by corporate politics. A place like that, not all of the credits in the galaxy could keep you safe. You always had to watch over your shoulder...and keep your hand on your gun.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Your chair? How possesive of you," She mocked with a sly smile and an eyebrow raised, "I like it." She flipped the chair around, adding a little 'whee' as it turned, "Yup, we're on course." She confirmed for him, "We'll be there in like, four hours. Bah, how dull. I guess I go and fuck around Besh." She laughed to herself at the thought.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Why not call her up?" he said suggestively. He was almost half serious he thought, but he decided to miss with her a little more. "I'm sure her seeing you in my chair will piss her off right good" he said, walking to a monitor and studying the course. There were no ships in the area, but if there was one ship with stealth capabilities, there was bound to be more.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Majora pushed the intercom button and put on her sexy breathy voice, "Hey Beeessshh..."
"Piss off." Came the reply from wherever she was on the ship, then the sound of the mute button.
She shrugged, "Bust. Darn, later then. I'll sneak in her room and cop a feel."

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"Maybe you should save that for AFTER we finish the delivery" he said in an assertive tone. He knew that Besh was stressed out from the job, and that once it was done she would be able to calm down and relax. He decided to page Besh on the intercom, although she was frustrated, he had to make sure she was ready. He always had her cover his drop offs, he never knew what could happen. "Besh, get your gear ready, were only a couple hours away" he said to her.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

"My gear is ready! It's been ready. Both of you go fuck yourselves and quit bothering me!" Besh grumped back at them, muting the intercom again.
"Oooo" Majora squeed, "She's in one of her moods!" She dropped her shoulders and threw her head back, "Gah, I want to hit that so bad. Sexy B.A.M.F., Besh is." Now she shivered, "I think I'll have to accept her order, I could use it..."

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Anyone who had just met Majora would be offput by her remarks, but to Virgil they were like anything else she could say. "Just not in my chair please...or my room" he said in an assertive tone. He really didn't want to have to wait for her to finish before he could go in there again. "Maybe Ren can fix you up a machine or something, save time" he said half jokingly. Then he realized, he had just created a monster.

RE: Journy of the Crimson Winter [bignasty + jaqueline)

Majora toyed with the idea for a few dangerous seconds. Ren would be easy to get to build just about anything, but she shook her head and put her index finger in her mouth, sucking on it as she slowly pulled it out, "Naw, toys don't quite do it for me, I prefer my fingers." She got up off the chair and spun around, stopping with her arms on Virgil's torso and hands on his shoulders. She looked up at him, "You look so sexy with your hair wet." She told him, "I like hair, I wish I had hair. Long hair like your females do."

Virgil played with the idea of having a quickie with Majora...it sure would pass the time. "What are you in the mood for Majora?" Virgil asked seductively. She was probably going to shut him down, to which he would go and calibrate the weapons. A menial task, but something that needed to be done none the less. His mind wandered back to the amount of credits he would get for this job. He'd be able to buy a heavy tank after this job. That would make him and his team even more valuable, getting them more jobs. Sure, the life of a smuggler was great and glamorous, but he missed full on combat. He hungered for it.

Majora also thought about going for a quickie. It's fun to tease and leave them hanging, but sometimes you just want to get down and dirty, "Fingers can only do so much," she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and neck, pressing herself against him some, "Only so far, only so thick...can you think of something nearby that might suit the task better?" She asked.

"I can think of something better, way better, its called the human penis" he said jokingly. She knew damn well what it was. But he always liked to poke fun at her on her child-like personality. He studied her body again. Normally Virgil wasn't attracted to aliens, but in the Majora's case, he couldn't help himself.

She pushed herself up against him more, "Oooh, facinating. You're saying humans possess something that will fill my need? Wonderful! But where can I find a human nearby to try it out with...hmm, can you reccommend anyone, Captain?" She asked, playing on the ignorance persona. She let one hand start going up and down his neck, not touching, just barely grazing the hairs on the back of his neck.

Virgil shivered as her hand grazed his neck. "Last time I checked, the only human onboard is, well, me." he said with a snicker. She was playing dumb. Athough, that's what she was known for. Virgil dreaded the day when she would realize it was time to grow up and be a giant smart-ass like all the other matriarchs he's ever had the pleasure of meeting.
