Marcos had been at it for a couple of hours now, following the tip he had received in an attempt to find the supposed witch lurking within the woods. The sun had only just been rising when he had slipped into the forest, yet time had quickly melted away and it was already past noon. His legs had started to feel like jelly, each step making him wince. His eyes too were heavy, and there were at least a couple of moments he wanted to just lean up against a tree and fall asleep. 'Course, if his master knew that he was thinking that, Marcos probably would've received a slap to the head. What if the witch stumbled across him, his master would inquire, he'd probably end up as a frog or something along the lines.

A multitude of possibilities floated through the young hunter's head as he continued his trek, and by the time the sun was about to fall below the horizon Marcos felt the urge to turn about.

And yet, within moments another sensation joined the irritable pain. A pressure, weighing down him, making goosebumps run down his arms. He could feel himself coming to a slight stop, a hand reaching towards his chest in an attempt to steady his breathing. Magic, he thought to himself as he glanced about the seemingly-unchanged forest. He had felt such sensation before, back when he his master had taken him on some minor hunts. They had gone after woman who hardly even knew of their powers, who auras were only but a faint tickle. But this...this was more than just a slight poke, Marcos could barely breathe...

His dark gray eyes continued to flicker back and forth as continued on, now going at a snail's pace. She was near...
