Jake smirked as he sat in a corner of a local diner awaiting his long time friend to arrive. He wore his usual brown trench coat, a blue alien shirt, jeans and sunglasses. He had darkish red hair and a small goatee which he was somewhat proud of and always took care of it.

Sarah was running late her lunch date with her high school friend, having taken too long to get ready. But she was always dressed to the nines, every aspect of her outfit pulled together. Arriving at the diner she gave him a broad smile with her full lipstick covered lips, walking over Jake and giving him a hug before sliding into the corner booth with him. "Have you ordered yet?" she asked.

Sitting down at the table, she ordered a sweet tea when the waitress approached before turning back to her friend. Smiling a little she gave a short shrug at this. "Oh, it's been okay. With Will on his business trip for the week it's been a little lonely...being at home all day is boring. But I've managed to find some things to do while he's gone."

She sipped the sweet tea through her straw, leaving a little spot of lipstick around it when she pulled up. After a little chuckle, she smirked. "Oh, enough about me. How are you?"

"Oh alright." Jake said smirking a bit hearing about Will "Sorry I didn't come over for the usual weekly visit. Something came up at work..."

As she listened to his reply, she gave a little shrug at his response. "It's not a big deal Jake, I understand. You gotta work I suppose." Her husband was the bread winner so to speak, she never had a need to work to get the things she wanted. Their waitress returned and asked if they were ready to order, she shrugged and looked up at Jake. "You ready to order?"
