Alex had been known as Alexis in her old high school and ever since she got her new part time job to help out with fee's for her family. Her family had never been the richest people she knew, in fact they weren't even middle class. Their house was practically falling down; the roof leaked, the floorboards were giving way and with her mother in the hospital, Alex and her younger sister hardly had anything to eat every night. The manager of the cafe she now worked at had offered her a job and always gave her food to take home with her; she was so kind. Her place of work had to remain a secret though, as she was now transfering to a new school in the area, a school where she had applied as a male student. Alex had always been uncomfortable with her body and always been more like a boy then a girl when she was younger; but the main part of the reason was that she school weren't accepting anymore females as the girls mostly populated their school. It was stupid really.
The female woke as usual and began her daily routine. She jumped in the shower before brushing her teeth and making her way down the hall to breakfast. (Her house consisted of one floor.) She ate a small breakfast which contained one piece of toast and orange juice, and spoke with her sister about school. Her sister looked exactly like Alex, only with longer hair and dressed in a skirt for middle school. After she had finished the food and small talk, she went upstairs to get changed into her school uniform. A pair of black, baggy trousers (to hide the shape of her legs), a white, button up shirt, a navy blue blazer and a red tie. She had never been particularly gifted in the bossom area, so the tie managed to make her look as flat chested as she was. Her sister was much more feminine, in body and in mind. Alex combed her burgandy hair that was styled in a bob just above her shoulders and made sure to get her work costume out and in a bag so that she could nip home really quick and pick it up to take to work with her. She made sure to get changed in their changing rooms as she didn't want to be seen outside in female clothing.
After she slipped on her shoes and grabbed her bag, she was off. The two siblings left at the same time and made sure to lock the door before heading seperate ways. Within moments of walking she arrived at the school. Her large green eyes looked around at the students and she carried her briefcase-like bag over one shoulder, her other hand in her pocket; slouching a little. An uninterested expression remained on her face as she entered the building and spoke to the receptionist. Yes, her voice hadn't changed. It wa still soft and polite as ever, but she didn't have the female manorisums she did at work. After the bell rang for first class, Alex was told to wait for a moment before the older woman with a head of white hair lead her to the classroom. The receptionist knocked once and then opened the door for Alex to step in. Taking a deep breath, she wandered in the classroom, her eyes scanning the students briefly before the teacher pulled out a form and started to speak. "We have a new student today, class. His name is Alex Taylor. Please take good care of him." The female just nodded to his fellow students and then realised the girls appeared to be whispering to each other; about her no doubt. "Go take a seat over there." The male teacher pointed to the empty seat in one of the middle rows and Alex followed the orders, walking up the isle making sure not to bursh anyone on her way past. Then, she took her seat with a sigh, placing her bag under her table, her green orbs trying not to look back at the people who were staring at her.
