Samantha smirked as the doorbell rang. It was finally here. She had set aside any plans today just to make sure she would be here when it arrived. She signed the paper the delivery man asked her to and had it moved into her living room. She hadn’t been this excited since she opened her store.
Sam ran a boutique near the center of the city. She had opened it almost a year ago and it was doing amazingly well. She even managed to sell her own line of clothing there. She had been searching for mannequins online when this advertisement popped up for this new ‘extremely lifelike mannequin.’ It looked very well made so she figured she’d give it a try. And now it was here. She tore into the box quicker than a kid on Christmas, and with box cutter still in hand she looked at the new mannequin. She smirked, dropping the box cutter and sitting her up. She looked her over, a smile going from ear to ear. It really was life like. She looked it over a bit closer, noticing that it even felt kind of real, save for the few ports and such on it. She grabbed the manual, reading it thoroughly before even trying to turn it on. She didn’t want to take any chances on messing this thing up. Though the first thing it said to do was hook it up to your computer, so she did. She moved a lock of red hair behind her ear as she waited to see if that actually did something like wake it up.
