'Its no use...I can't sleep...' James sighed with distaste and frustration as he sat up in bed. It was nearly noon, but being a vampire, he couldn't really go out until later because of the intensity of the sun. He had been up, tossing and turning all morning, thinking about her.

There had been this girl..no, woman that had caught his eye one day. It was an evening and he had been walking home after an early feeding, and he saw her on the bus. He had tried to approach her, her beauty stunning and hypnotizing him, but she got off on the next stop.

Little did he know that he would be seeing her everywhere. And every time he got close enough to talk to her, she disappeared into thin air. This went on for months and it was driving the poor vampire nuts. So much so that he had neglected to feed and instead searched for the beauty everywhere he went.

'Today will be the day...I have to know her...I have fallen for her...' He decided as he sprung out of bed. James looked through his closet and picked out a deep purple button up shirt, black slacks, and a white tie. With it he put on black socks and what looked to be expensive leather shoes. He sat by the window and waited. It was only 2pm now, he had to wait until at least 5pm before he could wander out.
