Dreams of Alice (Devxx and me)

A girl always dreamed of a life she don't had instead of just changing her life. She created a world on her own and escaped to it. At first, she only visited a few times, but then she escaped to this place more than ones a day. Hypnos, the keeper of this world, figured out that maybe she would be more happy when she would never awake again and trapped her into his realm.

One day, she awaked after dreaming, but she was no longer in her bedroom. In fact, she wasn't even awake at all. She was on a large ship, swimming in a world of blue. The cobalt sky and the azure sea were surrounding her, but the ship was really nice itself. It was quite luxurious and the crew was really simple to remember. A nice-looking guy, which she had seen on a playgirl magazine before, was actually driving the whole ship.
As he saw her, he started to greet her.

"Welcome to the trip. I hope you had a nice night. We will soon get to Wonderland, I can already see the bubble fog of the coast. Can I get you a drink or something else, before we arrive. I would be happy to see this beautiful lady smile, before we get to our destination."

It had been strange at first, when she initially entered this world. It had all started out like any other dream but with each and every visit is felt like it was more and more real. Every time her head hit the pillow lately she'd be transported to this wondrous place where everything she wanted came to be. Allie felt like she'd spent hours and hours playing around and trying to discover new things only to be woken up by her alarm clock and have to face another day in the real world. With each passing hour she'd be counting down the moments until she could once again fall into slumber only to awaken in this place all her own.

This time Allie found herself on a ship much different then where she usually woke up. On unsteady legs she pushed herself up off the cold floor and dusted off the clean white nightgown she was wearing. Her blond hair hung loosely down her back as blue eyes scanned her surrounding. For a second she wondered if she was all alone but then she saw someone greeting her. Breathing in the crisp salt air she made her way towards the man on unsteady legs.

"Hello." Allie said quickly as she walked over to him. The man looked like he belonged on the cover of a magazine instead of behind the wheel of a ship. Though it seemed like in this world everything was so much more beautiful then in reality. "Um, if you had some water that would be nice." Allie said as she felt her throat close up a bit. It seemed silly to ask for water when she was currently surrounded by blue but she needed something to help with her now dry throat. "I'm sorry, did you say our destination? Where are we going?"

"Don't you know? We are heading for the castle of the black king. He invited for his wedding and it will be a really big event... and then, Wonderland will finally have it's first queen. Excuse me for a second." was the playgirl-bunny telling her and went away for a short time. Returning with a glass of nice clean water with some ice cubes, he gave her the drink and continued to tell.
"I was sent to pick you up, since the king wanted to made sure that you won't miss it and of course that you arrive save at the castle. It seemed like he was a little worried, because of the headless clown."

As the ship went into the bubble fog, the air was filled more with bubbles of any size. Some of them seemed to be filled with water... and even fish. An really big one even contained a large whale, who levitated in his bubble just a few meters over the ship. Nothing seemed at least like fog. but the whole mass of bubbles made the sight decreasing. The bunny told her after a while:
"The harbor is pretty close. We should get ready to switch the vehicle. I hope you don't mind to ride within a carriage, or do you, sweet?"

"The black king's wedding?" Allie asked as she leaned against the side. So Wonderland would be getting a queen and she was actually invited to go see the wedding. Allie thanked him as he brought her a glass of water and quietly took a sip as she listened to him continue his story. "Me? Why would the king care if I was there?" What could she possibly mean to the black king that he would send this man to come pick her up. "Also, did you say headless clown?" There were so many questions she had but it seemed like every answer only led to more questions. Even though she had been here for some time there were still so many things she didn't understand about this dream world.

Before she could question him anymore though her eyes were drawn up to the sky and the bubbles that were coming off the land. They were absolutely beautiful and she reached out her hand to poke one of the bubbles filled with a fish only to have it fly away before she could touch it. Blue eyes were wide in awe as she let out a small giggle trying to catch some more of the bubbles. There was nothing like this in the real world that was for sure.

"Oh, of course not." Allie said as she flashed him a smile. The bunny was much nicer then the men she met in her normal life and she didn't mind this one bit. Besides, she was excited to get to the castle as well.

The harbor wasn't really big, but was quite full of details as well. It was a really colorful place, who nearly seemed to be made of rainbows and light. While they went throught the beautiful town, Bunny came back to her questions: "The black king could never have a wedding without inviting you. I mean, you are Allie. Without you, this place only would be half this beautiful and fun." He gently smiled to her and continued with a more serious look. "The headless clown was ones a servant of the black king. He is a harlequin and magician, who was entrusted with the task to entertain the king. Nobody actually knows what happened back then, but it is rumored that he made a assaulting joke against the king and got his head cutted off. But instead of dying, he kicked his laughing head out of a window and followed by jumping after it. And then he vanished, until he heard of the wedding... some people say that he want to sabotage it."

As soon as they reached the end of the town, they saw the next transport vehicle and Bunny presented proudly. "The carriage, milady."
Actually the box of the carriage seemed kinda small, but only because of the fact that it was on top of the back of a giant kitten. The white kitten was nearly twice as big as an elefant and her giant eyes alone were already bigger than Allie. A soft and unbelievable cute Meow came from the giant creature as she welcomed the both of them.
Bunny pointed towards a ladder that was heading up towards the carriage and asked Allie. "Would you mind climbing up? I would love to come with you, but I can't ride her from the carriage, so I won't be able to keep you company for the ride."

But what Bunny wasn't knowing, that there already was someone waiting for Allie inside of the carriage. A man, who was hiding behind a hilarious big bouquet of white roses.

Allie nodded her head as she took in the sight of the harbor. It was as if all the colors were so much more vivid then they ever were in the real world. Everything was ethereal as if she was staring at a rainbow through a clouded bit of glass which made all the colors blend and blur. Well, this place wouldn't really exist without her now would it? After all, this was her dream world and everything here had to be her creation one way or another. "He got his head cut off for telling a joke? I'll make a note to keep all jokes to a minimum." Allie said as she took a deep breath. It seemed a bit harsh to actually behead someone for telling an insulting joke and for a moment she wondered just how her subconscious actually came up with things like this. Dream or not, she'd really rather not be on the receiving end of any sort of punishment that involved her losing her head.

Allie followed Bunny off the boat towards where he said the carriage would be. As soon as she saw it a huge grin spread on her face as she ran up to the giant kitten that would serve as their transportation. Her hands ran through the kittens soft fur and for a moment it reminded her of her own kitten at home. "Hehe, well aren't you adorable." Allie giggled as she gave the kitten a soft pat before heading towards the ladder. "You won't be coming?" She sounded a bit disappointed as she turned towards Bunny. Shame, she had grown used to his presence and he had been very helpful in answering her questions. "Well, thank you very much for taking me this far." The girl bowed into a small curtsy in her nightgown before grasping the ladder and climbing it.

After a couple of minutes she made it to the top where the carriage was waiting. As soon as she got in her nose was assaulted by the sweet smell of roses. It seemed as if the carriage was split in half by an incredibly large bouquet of white roses that filled the space. "Curiouser and curiouser." Gently she reached out a hand and brushed it over the soft petals wondering just how the roses got there and what they were for.
