The woman stood before the window, looking out at the lush lawn of the mansion, her red hair raising gently off her shoulders as a breeze caressed it, green eyes staring at the beautiful full moon tonight. A simple white short gown was all she would wore for bed. She doubted he would call for her tonight, he seemed deep in thought tonight at dinner. He bought her flowers again. He seemed reluctant to give up on her being more affectionate.
With a soft sigh, she closed the window but a crack and picked up a brush off the dresser. Sitting on the end of the bed, she began to brush out her straight red hair, making it softer than it had already been. She stared at the ground, not interested in looking at the vases around her room with flowers in them. She couldn't quite figure out what he was looking for from her, just that he seemed disappointed in her reactions.
Shaking her head at the confusion, she stood and put her brush down on the dresser. Shutting the light off, she quietly went to the bed and slid beneath the covers. Closing her eyes, she awaits for sleep to finally take her.
