She was absolutely perfect, a demon couldn't ask for more when it came to a bride... gorgeous and innocent. He had to possess her, soon he would possess her. It wasn't just a physical urge saying that he had to have her, it was more then just instinct, it was part of what it meant to be a prince. Having reached what was considered the 'proper age' of a hundred years old it was time for the Prince to take a bride, if he wanted to claim a throne then he would have to take a worthy bride... a princess from the world outside of the Pit.
Lucifuge hadn't been out on the hunt for very long, looking for any human of proper quality to be made his bride, innocence, beauty, and of course a royal pedigree were all the most important things for him, the first being personal preference while the others were required, a beautiful commoner or an ugly princess were both worthless to him. On his third day outside of the Pit he had seen her by chance and known immediately that she was the right one, that only she would be good enough. The unfortunate thing was that she had been surrounded by guards at the time, he could have waded in and killed them to drag her off but that wouldn't be prudent, many weren't aware his kind even existed anymore and taking her in the dead of night was more appealing anyway.
Now he slowly slipped into her room, walking straight out of the shadows along a wall, as a member of the demons ruling class he had a great deal of power and something like shadow watching was only childs play to him. Standing in her room he took a moment to examine himself in a nearby mirror for a second, he was almost entirely human in appearance, a tall and pale man who appeared to only about twenty six years old, his hair and eyes were both the color of blackest jet, though his eyes reflected with flecks of silver when light hit them properly. His bone structure was considered classical by some, sharp cheeks and a strong chin with full lips that always showed a hint of a smile as if everything was greatly amusing to him. His body was slim but well muscled, like that of someone who ran great distances in their spare time. On his back were two large wings like those of a bat but as he drew closer to his intended bride they drew into his body without a noise.
Looking down at her sleeping form he smiled a little, she was lovely but soon she would look even more beautiful. Leaning down he brushed his lips against hers, unable to resist the temptation of a kiss before he took her to her new home.
