"Katie Scarlett, if you don't get you ass moving, you won't have a ride to school!" Of course, the over-eager person trying to get to school wasn't a student. It was actually the mother of a seventeen year old girl who didn't want to go to wake up.
That girl was an attractive redhead, who was grudgingly walking from the kitchen with a cold s'mores pop-tart in her hand. She usually didn't wake up until halfway to school, at which point she would be drinking her coffee and grumbling about homework. It was routine, and mother and daughter actually enjoyed it.
"Yeah, yeah." Scarlett said, rolling her brilliant blue eyes. "Like you'd actually leave. Where would you go anyway?" Her mother grinned and nodded for the door.
"Katie Scarlett, into the car." The girl nodded and walked out to the sedan, munching on her pop-tart.
True to form, by the time Scarlett reached the school, she was alert. She nearly bounced as she went to her locker, at least an hour before class was actually going to start. So, there she stood, in her blue boot cut jeans, soft blue tank top, and light blue high heeled sandals, going through her locker in search of all of her books.
