"Come on! You know I carried us through that entire fight! You can't honestly deny it!" Daedya shouted. Her powerful voice cut out all other sounds but hers. She swung her fist against the wall and left a two foot crater in the concrete. She was furious, that could be seen in her twitching red eyes and the veins that bulged across her body. She stood the tallest out of all the combat team members, almost six feet. And she was built solidly. Her abdomen, chest, back and shoulders were bare, deeply tanned skin with well defined muscles, and covered only by a tight halter. While her forearms, and everything from the waist down save her crotch, which was covered in nothing more than a tight thong, was covered in a thick light golden fur. Her hair matched her fur, and it was so voluminous it was almost as broad as her shoulders, but it reached the back of her knees.

"Oh ignore her Jayde. She's just mad cause she's not allowed in the locker room anymore." Daedya turned to face Kella, her alternate and the one who spoke. Kella didn't budge or flinch in the face of Daedya's anger, she calmly continued combing her own, pitch black hair. She held Daedya's stare with cold blue eyes and a smirk. One of the only people in the school who could stare the berserker down. After a tense minute Daedya spat on the ground and sulked off to the corner and Kella turned back to Jayde.

"You have to learn to stand up to her, she only does that because she knows you won't." Kella herself was much more voluptuous than muscular. While Daedya's breasts were large, CC's. Kella's were D's. She stretched out, her tight dress was made mostly of leather straps and buckles holding it's overlapping pieces together, and it hugged her form perfectly. Her outfit hid most of her features, but her skin was pure white, a stark contrast to her hair. Jayde slid away from the door and sat in one of the student desks.

"I know. But most of the time it's not worth the effort." Jayde was shapely and sexy, but much less endowed than her counterparts. Her skin was a pinkish color, and perpetually moist due to her anatomy. She wore a simple tank top that easily covered her B-cups, and a pair of baggy bondage pants that hung low enough for her thong to be visible. Softer areas of her skin faded into a deeper purple. Most exotic though was the mass of prehensile tentacles that hung from her head rather than hair.

The door suddenly opened and Miss Oda walked into the room with her usual demeanor. Her silky green hair came down to her lower back, combined with her thick framed glasses, tight body and thick hips she made for quite a view. Especially when she wore her actual teachers uniform, which she was, which consists of a long slitted skirt and a business-like jacket.

"Good morning girls. Tiari and Siek got in a brawl with the tennis team from block D, so they will not be joining us for a couple of days." That brought a groan from Daedya, a sigh from Kella, and a laugh from Jayde. "Because of this it would be impossible to do normal training today, so instead I have some news for you girls, then afterward you will free spar for a while. Oda cleared her throat.

"First off, you have a new member to the team. I would like you to afford her every..and I DO mean every respect you afford each other. You can come in now dear, meet what bit of the team isn't in suspension...." The room was silent, Jayde was curious and excited. She was looking forward to not being the new girl anymore. Kella wasn't particularly thrilled, but she wasn't displaying her emotions, rather she just waited to see the new recruit.

And Daedya had fallen asleep sometime after she retreated to the corner...

The young woman who entered the room was petite. She stood roughly 5'4" and looked to weigh no more than 110 lbs. Slightly pointed ears suggested an inhuman heritage though she was certainly human in nature. White hair was pulled up into a warrior's ponytail to keep it from getting in her way. She wore a pair of red hakama, through the slits of which could be seen the milky white skin of her thigh. A light weight black haori was wrapped around her tightly around her torso, accentuating her petite breasts. A black eye patch covered her her right eye. Her left eye was a faint pink color, making it's color difficult to distinguish against the whites of her eyes. An ornate nodachi was tied to her left side, suggesting that she was right handed.

She gave a respectful bow first to the teacher who asked her to enter and then to the team she would be fighting with. "My name is Takahata Matsunari Skeith." She said, introducing herself in a proper japanese fashion with her surname first, and birth name last. "I am looking forward to fighting along side you." Her eye scanned the room to inspect the people she'd be working with. A faint smile was present on her face.

Kella's eyes lit up with what could be called nothing less than devious intent. A slight smile cracked her lips as she sized up the new addition to their team. Even though the thick, traditional clothing she wore obscured much of her physique, it was clear she was quite well formed. Jayde however had sat back in her chair, she bit her lip as her eyes bore a whole through the new girl. Her expression was one of excitement and intense interest.

"Daedya would you please be kind enough to greet your....really?" Oda sighed and walked over to the sleeping fighter. "Really Daedya you need to start sleeping at night, I can't pass off all these naps if you do it nine times a class!" Oda swiftly snapped her foot into the furred thigh of the girl, starting her awake.

"What!? What? Who the...oh. What is it Oda?" Miss Oda hissed and a clawed tail whipped out from beneath her skirt and placed it's blade to Daedya's chin. "Ok! Ok, fine I get it, push off already!" Daedya groaned as she stood up and made her way over. She stopped several paces away from the white haired girl to give her a once over. Then she grinned and closed the distance until she was looking down at Skeith.

"Dainty little thing aren't ya?" She leaned in slightly and gave her a sniff, deeply inhaling her scent. "You smell good you know? Kinda like flowers....it suits you. You look like you would bruise easy...." Kella didn't say anything this time. The one thing that both of them agreed on was a distaste for weak demeanor's. It had taken them until her second or third fight to accept Jayde, it wasn't until battle that she showed her real violent streak. This was the part where Daedya tested the new girl, gauge her response, be it weak or strong. Jayde and Miss Oda also just watched, Oda because she was fully aware of the girls volatile natures and the necessity to build a stable group dynamic. Jayde for reasons unknown, but she looked as though she was ready to burst.

Skeith maintained her composure, regardless of the fact that the taller woman came in out of her blind spot. She looked up at the woman, not breaking eye contact for a moment. "Your scent is also quite befitting. It is one of sweat and unnecessary rage." Her eye shifted to the other girls before returning to the taller one. She could see what she was doing. It was though she was attempting to establish dominance and remind her of who was the new recruit and who was the alpha.

She closed her eye and released an agitated sigh. "Make no mistake, I am a Samurai of the Takahata clan. Underestimate me, and you do so at your own peril." She spoke with a dismissive wave of her hand. The small smile that was present on her face when she first entered to room reappeared as she walked around the other woman to approach the others.

Daedya's brow furrowed as this new girl talked back to her as though she was an equal. That had yet to be seen. She made to retort but this Skeith kept going, and as she finished she walked past her dismissively. Fire burned up from the pit of her stomach, she hated it when people dismissed her. She was far to strong, far to dangerous, and far better than most, to be taken lightly. Kella had already stared her down once today, her ego would not suffer another loss.

Kella saw it coming before it happened. She kept quiet but laughed on the inside for she knew exactly what the new girl's actions had done to Daedya. That first act of will endeared the girl to her, even though she was already planning some less than honorable things for the recruit, she was already liking her. Unfortunately, she knew exactly how hard Daedya hit as well, and she didn't yet trust the new girl to survive an angered hit from the berserker's staff.

Jayde slid out of her chair and dove backward, rolling out of the way as she saw Daedya's massive quarterstaff spinning into view. The last thing she saw before she dove was the six foot long, four inch thick length of Bloodwood closing in on the Samurai's head. Poor thing. She had only just got here too.

If it hadn't been for the keen senses earned from her heritage she'd have quite likely been pasted across the room by the incoming rod. However, her reflexes responded quickly to the sound of the staff passing through the air. The sound of the wind was enough to signal the samurai's actions. Her hand fell to the hilt of her weapon before leaning her body just out of the path of the wooden staff.

The nodachi flew from it's sheath with blinding speed only to make a single flash of steel near the larger woman before being returned to the sheath. She looked up at the woman with a passive expression as she released a small tuft of golden hair from the palm of her hand to display just how accurate her blade was. "Takahata clansmen are raised from birth to be masters of the sheath. Our strength comes from the quickness with which we draw."

She brushed her silver bangs from her face before releasing a small huff. "It is dishonorable to strike an unsuspecting opponent from the rear." Her face remained perfectly calm. One of the earliest teachings she was given was to be in complete control of her emotions at all times.

Daedya looked at the tuft of hair and growled with realization. She had put all her strength behind that blow, that was why it had missed. Just as the Samurai had said, "Underestimate me, and you do so at your own peril." Her own actions had justified the girls words, which only made it worse.

"You are very fast little flower. Very fast. But that honor shit doesn't fly in the real world. Out here you win or you bleed...AND I NEVER LOSE!" Daedya made to stomp the floor boards, a trick Kella had seen a couple times. The berserker was strong enough to crack every board in the room, popping her opponent into the air or at least destabilizing them. Either way it would have given her an opening, had Miss Oda not stepped in. Once again, her bladed tail was suddenly at her throat. Daedya glared at the teacher with such intensity you'd think she could kill with her eyes alone.

"I already planned for you ladies to spar today, so why don't we take this to more suitable quarters hmm? One that I don't have to fill a damage report for?" Daedya's breathing slowed and she smiled. Moving her glare back to the Samurai.

"That sound fucking fantastic. What do you say flower? Ready for some *friendly* one on one?" The intense violence in her eyes combined with her deviant smile was devilish.

The young samurai and bowed respectfully to the instructor. "Forgive me, Miss Oda. I'm afraid that I antagonized the woman and therefore am responsible." She turned her attention back to Daedya and gave her the same passive expression. "I would be quite pleased to participate in a training match with someone as strong as you. As I can see there is much I could learn."

She folded her arms across her chest. "However, I do not wish to fight you if it is simply ease your wounded ego. As neither I, nor you will learn anything from such a training match." She paused as she turned away from the woman. "Your anger gives you strength." She said quietly as she closed her eye. "If you continue to let your anger run unchecked, than you're going to find yourself having done something you'll regret."

"I've come here to act as your ally, not your enemy. But, I will not be spoken down to by one who lives solely by her emotions; allowing them to rule her rather than ruling them as it should be." She said turning to face her once again. "Either treat me as an equal, or go through the rest of your tournament one man short. I'm certain their is an other team that will give me the respect I'm due." There was a brief moment of intensity in the pale eye of the samurai but it faded almost as quickly as it had appeared.

"You insignificant bitch! You really think we are supposed to just respect you?" Daedya's veins were bulging now. "RESPECT IS EARNED NOT OWED!" Daedya made to deliver a monumental attack, but was stopped short by Kella. Her movement was so fast that not even Miss Oda could have caught it, whether the new girl did or not was unclear, but it didn't matter. Kella's left hand braced against the berserker's abdomen, and her right against the woman's shoulder. The dark haired girl leaned in to whisper in her ear, and a look of serenity slowly took over the warriors face. When Kella finally pulled away they shared a look, then Daedya glanced back to the Skeith.

"This isn't over...not even close." With an abrupt motion she dissipated her staff into nothing. "I'm going to train. Have this session without me Oda." With that she walked off, surprisingly calm. Jayde moved up beside Skeith and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Lucky you Quick-draw. Kella doesn't pull that card often. You may be good, but Daedya is better than anyone but Siek. I can't even touch her yet." Jayde's words were friendly, cautionary, but friendly. Kella's words came next.

"Indeed. You might be faster than Tiari even. While I do not share her violent disposition, Takahata. I do share many of her viewpoints. Including the ones involving respect. Neither I nor Siek, nor Tiari or Jayde give respect without it having been earned by fire of battle. You may be good, but speed and the ability to antagonize a hotblooded woman does not earn you equality." Kella exhaled deeply and flicked her hair over her shoulders.

"On a lighter note...welcome to the team. Your display has left me wanting more. I would very much like to see what you are capable of. Both Jayde and I could offer you a sparring partner...if you are still willing?" Jayde had a big grin on her face, she was excited to fight, that much was obvious. Kella herself was obviously interested too, though she maintained her composure with much more skill.

Skeith's hand had returned to the hilt of her weapon when she saw that Daedya was poised for another attack. However, being a defensive fighter, her weapon never left it's sheath, at least not this time. She lowered her guard as Daedya walked away, a quiet sigh escaping her lips. "Forgive me. I too, allowed my emotions to grow wild. It may take time for me to learn the customs here. But where I come from respect is given until one is proven unworthy of it."

It seemed simple enough to her. If you want to be treated politely than you treat others the same way. Besides, being a blood descendant of the Takahata Clan had awarded her much respect back home, but here, where the name Takahata meant nothing, she would have to prove her abilities. A small tinge of anger still remained in the young samurai. How dare she have disregarded honor as useless sentiment. If one could not meet another in battle head to head and prove they were truly the better warrior than their pride as a warrior was forfeit.

Hearing the others invitation for a sparing match brought the smile back to her pale lips. "I would very much enjoy the opportunity to spar with either of you." She said in a pleased tone. At least she had made two friends in coming here. Two out of three wasn't so bad. Besides, there was still time to salvage the situation with Daedya. Though perhaps meeting her in combat was truly the only way to get close to her.

"Me then!" Jayde raised her hand in an almost juvenile act, one that was simply part of her energetic personality, which would only become more and more dominant now that she was about to fight. Kella sighed and walked over to the side door to their classroom. It's traditional design was made to give it a sense of homeliness, she figured it's obviously Japanese design would probably suit the new girl better than anyone else. She slid the screen door aside and stepped out into the training yard, which held a large circle of fine gravel, several training devices including a masters circle, agility courses, and a shed for the combat drones.

"Fine then. Let's see what you've got....Quickdraw." She hesitated before using Jayde's pet name for the new girl, but after some thought she decided it fit well enough to warrant use. Jayde practically sprinted out into the gravel ring and skidded to a halt.

"Given that I've seen a hint of your abilities, the honorable thing to do is show you a hint of mine!" Jayde winked as she finished talking to Skeith, then she reached up into her tendrils and removed a pair of metal rods from within the writhing mass that extended down to the middle of her back. "Miss Oda? Would you activate the drone please? Level four if you would be so kind" Oda produced a small remote and pressed several buttons. The shed opened up, it's metal door sliding to the side and from it's shadowy interior a humanoid robot darted out. It looked like an almost perfect replica of a human without skin, save all it's muscle was metal and plastic. It took a second to take in the environment before lunging at Jayde.

"Kiss dirt Gene!" She cooed as she popped the ends of the rods against her thighs, as she did a length of cable extended from both rods and she whipped the right one through the air. The cable slammed into the androids legs with the impact of a small car, completely tearing the appendages off the machine. Then she cracked the second whip into it's torso as it fell, the impact sounded like a gunshot, but struck with enough force to completely implode it's chest cavity. As the crumpled heap fell to the ground Kella leaned over to Skeith.

"We call the combat drone Gene by the way. It has two dozen levels of difficulty, ranging from sub human to nearly indestructible. It self repairs and can mold parts of it's body to form weapons it calculates best suited for it's opponent. Though you will figure this all out in time. Now I believe Jayde is looking forward to proving herself to you, but be careful. Those whips are kinetic, which means they are as flexible as leather, but they hit like they were steel."

Skeith watched in awe as the robot was completely obliterated by the two quick attacks the young girl had used. She found her energy level and near child like personality to be adorable. It also seemed to act as a convenient cover for her quick and vicious attacks. Kinetic weapons? Skeith had never heard of such a thing, but she did not doubt their power.

Skeith stepped out onto the gravel. Her feet moving back and forth a bit as she tried to get used to the texture and the friction of the ground. "We always used sand back home." She admitted after a moment. It would take a bit of getting used to, but her foot work would be better for it in the end. Finally find her comfort zone, she stood up straight and gave a respectful bow to her opponent.

Her hand fell to the hilt of her blade after she had become comfortable. She drew the blade from it's sheath and took a combat ready stance. She didn't want her new team-mates to think she relied solely on how quickly she could draw her sword. She took a defensive stance with the Nodachi, knowing full well that going on the offensive against weapons with that kind of power would be a grave mistake. She'd have to rely on evasion and defense if she was to ever hope to overcome her opponent. She closed her eyes, breathing in and out slowly. Entering a passive state of meditation so that she could maintain inner peace even under the stress of battle.

Jayde had a broad smile on her face as Skeith entered the ring. After returning the bow with an acknowledging nod, she started fluidly snapping her whips back and forth. Against a foe with such incredible speed she would need to keep able to attack at any moment. Her heartbeat was steadily increasing, faster and faster until she reached a state of tension that made the world seem to slow. It wasn't a complex technique, one that her species had an easier time with than most due to their anatomy. Best judgment told her that it would let her fight this new girl effectively, but she would still have a hell of a fight on her hands.

She started sidestepping, keeping her weapon in constant motion. What even a few of her team didn't yet know about her was her intelligence, it was well hidden by her external personality, but she was smarter than every one of her teammates. Battle was a ruthless calculation, one that the mathematics of stimulated her more than anything else in the world. For example, she already figured out that Skeith was a defensive fighter, which was dangerous combined with her speed. She also knew her whips were more powerful than the girls sword, unfortunately, her whips were easy to read by someone with that speed. The deduction is...every blow could end this fight. That in mind...

"Well then...let's do this!" She spun and lashed out with her right whip, pulling it back early, a feint. The real attack came as she spun around, retrieving the cable while snapping the other out in a direct attack.

The key to survival in battle isn't to absorb damage, but to redirect it. All it takes is a gentle tap to change a blow's path even by just a sliver. Being so small, Skeith's body couldn't absorb great amounts of damage, however, being small did give her the advantage of agility. Since all of her actions relied on acting at the last second the only thing the feint did was to distract her. Her gaze shifted just in time to see the second whip coming in for an attack.

She tilted to her left while sliding her blade against the whip, forcing it to follow the curve of the blade. Skeith took advantage of this by leaping forward, staying low to the ground even in her mid-air dash, her blade returning to it's sheath only to be drawn swiftly as she spun her body like a drill. She hit the gravel in a kneeling position behind the woman with her hand tightly clasping her blade. She slid about ten feet before halting and rising to her feet, she turned and took the same stance she held in the beginning.

Though Skeith's attacks were far faster than the average human being, Jayde's ability to see the world at a slower pace would allow a much easier time evading. Though Skeith was not aware of this power, she was not foolish enough to assume a battle was complete until her opponent was either on the ground or surrendering.

What in the?! Jayde had overestimated her tension state greatly. The speed at which she deflected her attack was one thing, but the speed at which Skeith transferred to attack was another all together. Had Jayde not already wrapped herself with the first whip, she would have had no means to deflect the spiraling blade rush of her opponent. She twisted herself into her opponents attack, redirecting just enough of the slice so that what did hit skin, only went a centimeter deep. As Skeith came to a sliding halt, Jayde stopped spinning and changed her strategy. Usually something she reserves for desperation, but it was clear this girl required nothing less than her best.

"Damn! You really are something wicked!" She clicked her tongue as she retracted the whips and snapped the handles together. "I was right. Tiari wouldn't even touch that kind of speed. She won't be happy about that!" Jayde winked and pulled the handles apart. The cable now connected them. She lashed it out, then began a fluid series of almost dance like movements that had her body completely encircled by the cables. It was a derivation of an earth technique she'd become obsessed with as a child. Kusari-Fundo. Chain fighting. From her current position there were numerous ways she could snap the weighted handles of her cable into her opponent with incredible force. On top of that, in this position she could use the cable to defend against sword strikes.

"Round two! Kandaego! Dance of the Kraken!" She started moving, snapping her cables out one after another, rolling into each previous attack in order to set up the next without fail. It created a flurry of lashes that tore through the air like a dozen angry snakes.

Skeith offered a small smile at the compliment she was offered. She raised her blade defensively as she saw the girl pull the rods apart to reveal the connection between them. If it hadn't been for her passive meditation, the following sight would have caused her to panic.

The oncoming flurry of lashes made her react faster than she was used to. She blocked as many of the attacks as she could but each impact took more and more out of her than the last. A few dull grunts of pain followed by a displeasing groan as she was caught in the head. The result of the impacts from a weapon that could shatter a robot could do far worse to a human. Luckily she was able to roll with the blows to reduce serious damage. However the blow to the head caused her to spiral out of the control into the adjacent wall.

She fell from the wall, with her free hand held against the center of her forehead. "What power..." Skeith muttered in admiration. She struggled to her feet, using her blade as support. She looked at the woman in front of her, trying desperately to focus her sight. She was beginning to see double.

"If I have to try to hit more than one target at once, than I have little choice." She forced herself into a steady stance and took an offensive battle position. The attack, regretfully left her defenses open entirely, but with the blood from her now wounded head beginning to flood her eyes, she had little choice. "My ancestors were amongst the first to serve under Souji Okita of the Shinsengumi. Though none of them were nearly as talented as he, he did pass one technique on to my family."

She got a running start before leaping into the air with the nodachi in hand. "Mumyo-Ken!" To the untrained eye it would have appeared as though a single thrust was used, or it could appear as if her arm and sword had split into three. Though to the eyes of the ever impressive Jayde, three individual thrusts would have been seen, split evenly in distance to successfully strike a target's left and right shoulder, as well as the neck with such speed that it would appear the blows landed at the exact same time.

Jayde grinned as her attack slowly overwhelmed Skeith. For a moment she was worried, she didn't mind losing but it would just be bad if she lost easily. But now it was clear she could be every bit the challenge to Skeith as she was to Jayde. Though she did feel somewhat unfair as the new girl got to her feet. She had obviously seen tech like her kinetic whips, which seemed mundane to anyone at Hell High. Though she retracted the thought after imagining how powerful this girl could be once she adopted such advanced weaponry and began training in advanced techniques.

"Oh?" Was all she could reply to Skeith. She had never heard of the person of whom she spoke, nor the Shinsengumi. But such things rarely came before weak attacks. So she readied her cables to defend and counter the coming offensive. Only she was not ready. Her heightened tension let her see three attacks so fast that they still looked like one.

"Shit!" Jayde was just fast enough to tell where they were going, both shoulders and neck. She was only good enough to block one. Obviously the neck. She grunted as she felt the blade pierce both her shoulders deeply. Seeing as her techniques so heavily relied on her arms....

"Yield! I yield!" She said, before it got any further. Her own blood was boiling with excitement, this new girl seemed pretty composed, but in her place Jayde would probably keep going. She went down to a knee. Her shoulders bleeding and very difficult to move. Man....the things she was going to do to this girl....as soon as they were alone....it was enough to ignore the pain.

Skeith landed awkwardly behind her. She landed in a kneeling position, but momentum, and lack of balance, caused her to roll across the gravel. She slowly pushed herself up to her knee before rising to her feet. She shook her head to try to reclaim her vision. She approached the young girl and offered to help her. "Please, forgive me. I never meant to cause serious harm." She said quickly in the hopes of halting another enraged reaction from one of her team mates.

Her hands moved to her sides to help her stand. "I'm deeply sorry." She added as she helped her to her feet. "I should never have used that technique." It was meant to kill it's target. This was a duel. Skeith was ashamed. She looked up at Kella and Miss Oda, as if looking for help. Skeith's own strength was fading due to the vicious attacks from Jayde's unique weapons. She was certain that had it not been for her meditation, or her training in avoiding damage, that she would have had several broken bones.

"There is nothing to be sorry for dear." Miss Oda said bemusedly as she fixed her glasses. "You've entered a world where such techniques are commonplace, and this will not be the last time you use it. I assure you." Both she and Kella walked forward.

“That was very interesting indeed. I have to admit newbie...you fight like that when the fight is for keeps....even Daedya might change her mind. Siek however....well you will find out when you meet her. For now...” Kella pressed her hand to Skeith's stomach and let a little of her life force transfer to the smaller woman. She used the opportunity to get a 'feel' for Skeith, her abdomen was delightfully toned, yet soft at the same time. Kella smiled.

“Not sure if you're people have anything like this. Mine call it Szen. Lifeforce mastery. Suffice to say I can manipulate the energy that makes all life possible. This is how I fight. This is how I heal. And most importantly, this is how we can train.” She moved over to aid Jayde, and continued talking as she did so.

“This is a brutal world, fed off it's own competitive viciousness. The match you just participated in....that is how we train. With borderline lethality. That is the best way to truly prepare oneself for combat, by training in combat.”

“Now now that is enough Kella. I think she would understand quite well given her background.” Oda looked at her watch. “Dear me I have to attend to Seik and Tiari. You girls can keep training...or get to know each other. Whatever you want really, have the day ladies!” With that Oda turned away and left the class room.

Skeith watched in wide-eyed amazement as the girl used the power on her. The sudden sensation of warmth passing through her as her pain and fatigue was slowly lifted from her body. She reached up and touched her head where the blow had landed, while the blood was still present there was no longer a wound. "I have heard stories of such power but I've never seen it before..." She said in quiet astonishment. She watched as the same power was used on Jayde.

She gave a respectful bow to Miss Oda as she left the class room. Skeith flicked the blood from her blade with a swift slash towards the ground and then returned it to it's sheath. "I feel as though I've entered an alien world. These powers are truly beyond my comprehension." She said as she returned her attention to her new allies.

"I apologize again for my actions." She said as she turned to face Jayde. "The revelation of Kella's powers does not excuse my use of Mumyo-Ken." She closed her eyes before breathing out slowly. "It's a technique reserved for killing my opponent and is therefore forbidden for use in practice. I lost my cool and became desperate."

Jayde sighed and ran her fingers through her tendrils.

"Really there is no need for apologies. But if you absolutely need forgiveness..." She stepped up close to Skeith. "I'm sure you could have it easy enough..." She leaned over and gave the girl a peck on the cheek, purposely letting her tendrils snake up against her neck as she pulled away. Then with a wink she pulled away again. Meanwhile Kella rubbed the bridge of her nose.

"I find myself excusing everyone today. You must pardon Jayde, while her tastes are exquisite, her tact is somewhat...direct." Kella said with a sigh. Jayde stuck out her tongue at the taller woman in retort. "Anyways. It was an impressive technique, I will be very interested to see how you improve upon it. Now that you have access to the more advanced resources this school offers it's combat teams." Kella looked to Jayde and bit her lip. Both of them had similar designs in motion, though their methods were very different.

"Well? This is your first day. We can't do an initiation without the whole team....so what is your pleasure Miss Takahata? We can spar some more if you're interested...or we can show you around campus?"

A small blush surfaced on her face as she felt Jayde's lips against her cheek, followed by a small shiver from the feeling of the tentacles touching her neck. "I... I see..." She said, closing her eyes to try to will the blush from her cheeks. She turned her attention back to Kella when she spoke.

"As eager as I am to test my blade against you, I should probably get a better understanding of the campus." She had no intention of returning home any time soon, so this was her new home for quite a long time. It would be important to be able to navigate it successfully. She wiped some of the blood from her forehead with the back of her hand as she began walking towards the door.

"Perfect. I suppose it would be best to begin with the area's you will be using most frequently." Kella and Jayde began the process of showing Skeith around. They took her through the Research and Development labs which the students use to test out newly acquired techniques or unstable abilities in a controlled environment. Next came the basic facilities, the cafeteria which held numerous different separate eating areas designed to accommodate all species and tastes. The stopped briefly at the Librarium.

"In all the Infinity Realms, this is the largest housing of literature and knowledge of all. Copies and originals, some of the most ancient and important texts can be found here. I would not be surprised if you could find texts here from your own world. Texts you didn't even know existed." Kella said adrift in thought. Knowledge was her hobby outside of fighting. Her intellect wasn't as sharp as Jayde's, but it was broader. She soaked in every bit of information she could on every topic she discovered. After a few more important stops they came to stop at the dormitories.

"Well. This campus is pretty huge, much to big for a one shot.." Jayde was interrupted by the intercom.

"Kellatrix Vagner. Please report to the personnel office. Kellatrix Vagner. Please report to Personnel." Jayde smiled broadly.

"Uh-oh. Looks like Siek got herself suspended again! Kella, what is this? The fifth time this month you've had to pull her out of the fire?" Kella was not amused, she ignored Jayde and took a few steps back from her and Skeith.

"The sixth, and it is getting irritating." She sighed. "Jayde. I suppose you can handle things from here? I trust you will be on your best behavior?" Jayde stuck out her tongue and gave her the peace sign. With that Kella vanished, leaving only a shimmer in the air where she had been. Jayde then wrapped her arm around Skeith's shoulders.

"Well I guess it's just me and you! I was going to say that the campus is too large for a full tour in one go. Shall we take a break? I've got a fire going in my room, it should still be pretty comfy in there." Jayde laced her words with childish enthusiasm, goading the samurai to take the invitation.

Skeith watched as the other girl was called away. She wasn't sure but she could tell that she wasn't going to get along with Siek. If she was always so disobedient. She gave an accepting nod to Kella before she disappeared. This was something she was more accustomed to. She'd met, and fought more than her share of ninjas. So the art of disappearing was more commonplace in her eyes.

She gave a kind smile to Jayde though tensed immediately after the girl hugged her. "I'd love to relax after such a long day." She'd enraged a team mate, dueled another, and then took a tour of the campus. She was beginning to feel the fatigue. Though she doubted that Jayde was intending on them just relaxing in front of a warm fire. Not after her, no so subtle, advance earlier.

"Oh wonderful! I have some treats and beverages too...though I'm not sure whether they will be as tasty to you...I confess I've never had a human guest in my dorm room!" She said as she lead the way. It only took a few minutes to navigate the dorms, which she did her best to explain the layout as they moved.

"Okay. Here it is. Now keep in mind that the dorm rooms themselves are designed to accommodate the species of it's occupant. So yours will look nothing like mine. Madeshu! Welcome!" She slid open the door to her room and the atmosphere was immediately evident. In fact it was like stepping into another world. The floor was covered in a thick, spongy purple moss. The air was humid, and warm due to the still blazing fire going in a built in fireplace. Directly to the right of the door was a pool of bubbling green slime. Big enough to fit three.

"Imada bath. My species requires a special parasite to live outside humid environments for long. The Imada is a nutrient slime that feeds the parasite. Though it is also amazing for skin care as well. One day you'll have to try it!" To the left was a small seating area where the moss was thicker and tablets were arranged for beverages and food. Then beyond a thin screen much like the Japanese style walls, lay her private bedchamber, fireplace, and shower. Her bed was a large palette covered in very thick moss, easily seven inches deep. Jayde opened a refrigeration unit well hidden in the wall and began searching.

"Thirsty? I have a few sodas from...well I'm not really sure I can't read the writing, but I think they are citrus flavored...umm...I've got some spirits from home if you partake....and I've got plenty of nutrient water. Bland, but good for you."
