"Oh, good move Kira. Let's explore the run down ruins. Could be a fun adventure, could have treasure inside. Yea, bright idea....." young Kira said to herself, as she sat in the dark halls of the ruins she had been exploring, too injured to get out now. A pillar she passed earlier had crumbled and she dived out of the way, but a big stone had landed on her ankle. She managed to pull herself out from under it, but her ankle was likely shatted. She couldn't put any weight on it without crumpling down.

"Quite the pain in the ass predicament....." she continued with a groan, leaning her head back against the stone wall, closing her eyes. She had no clue how she was gonna get out of this. Little did she know, a life changing encounter was literally right around the corner, peeking at this attractive blonde.

From around the corner was a large yellow eye staring at her. A large creature laid there basking in the sunlight. But due to her color she looked like she was simply a moss covered rock. The creature was as large as a house, but it was well known for her kind, she could several times larger. Her species were one of the most rare and dangerous in the land. Many spoke as if her kind were more dangerous then even a hydra, or a sea serpent. Many people angered them by comparing them to a sea serpent. Which normally resulted in a fiery demise, or being torn to shreds. The creature glared at the 'human' who invaded her home. She hated humans, they constantly came to slay her, for fame, and glory. Over her body above her scales there were scar marks over her body, from the times she was attacked. But for some reason as she looked at this human there was something wrong, or perhaps different.

She couldn't place it but there was something there. Slowly she began to move, the rumble of her movements sent shakes to the ruins. Kira could see her moving and no doubt would be sure it spelled doom for her. But slowly the creature began to shrink and become smaller, and smaller. It was not long before the once house sized monster was a woman. Her scales acting as clothes. Her hands were still large claws, and her feet still armor plated with scales and claws. Her long scaly tail whipped the ground. He wings stretched as she did, this form had not been taken in a long while. She could become more human, but she retained parts of herself for protection. Long flowing purple hair fell down her back around her tail. Her bright yellow eyes seemed to glow in the dark as she moved.

It was unique to see someone like this, it would be a confusing to think if she was more human or more monster. But as she reached a few feet from the woman she stopped looking down with a cold look. "And why have you trespassed upon my home, here to slay me as well? Here to join the other skeletons?" The woman spoke, though curiously there were no skeletons anywhere within the ruins. That was for a reason indeed.

"Huh? Attack? I wouldn't attack anyone. I was just exploring and a pillar crumble on my leg and now, I'm too hurt to even stand up." Kira replied, looking up with those big beautiful eyes of hers, with that always gentle smile of hers across her face.

"I didn't know anyone lived here. But I guess it would make a great home. All those carvings and symbols are so interesting, so much history...." she continued, cutting her self off when she realized she was rambling.

"Hehe, sorry. Didn't mean to babble. History is a hobby of mine." she added, speaking to this woman like she was just a nother friends of hers, paying little mind to her creature esque appearance.

The woman eyed her curiously, it was odd for a human to not be disturbed by her. Especially seeing as she was in her full form only moments ago. Most humans were screaming by this point. The rest were throwing, or swinging stuff at her. She was... Calm... It was something that caught her off guard. Slowly she sat down on the ground never looking away from her. "You only got hurt because you were stupid enough not to ensure that every step you take is in the right spot. Earlier I heard a click before that pillar fall. No doubt you stepped on on of the traps." She spoke tapping her claws against the floor tactfully. Creating a tune of taps and clicks, that one might mistake for signals. It was more or less her nervous habit, this was the first 'human' she had a civilized conversation with. She had talked to a number of other creatures during her stay. Most of them came to hide from humans. Others were looking for homes.

Not many creatures were willing to share there dwellings with one of her kind. Being they were not well renowned for there kindness nore patience. This one was actually a oddity in that case. She was actually quite kind and patience, with every race other then humans. At one time she was with them but, with time that had changed. "You will find no history here, then useless trivia. The cravings you have seen, and not a language you can decipher. There runes not of you kind, or any other kind that is friendly to your people." She spoke calmly her clicking stopped. She looked over the woman more cautiously. For a human she looked rather well. She looked as if she could fit in with elves, if she had pointier ears.

"Huh? I read them just fine. It seemed to be some kind of notice or warning. Something about a dragon, fire and something about a little bird thing.......a phoenix I think." Kira replied, hitting the nail on the head for what the carvings said. She read them like there were nothing. She just figured that was common knowledge.

"I didn't really need to decipher them. I just looked at them and understood them. That not normal?" she asked curiously, cutely tilting her head to the side.

The girl eyes went to a bored expression. She had didn't expect her to be able to read those. They were draconian runes, something curious for a human to read. She felt as though this girl was odd, and this only reinforced her feeling that this girl wasn't ordinary. She snorted, causing a small plume of black smoke to puff from her nostrils. "Curious that you could read those, they were not meant for you, but other non humans. Are you a halfbreed? That is the only conceivable reason you could read those." She spoke, with any guess, it was clear that she was the dragon that was written, and most likely the one who wrote the letters.

"Hehe, that was cute." Kira replied, giggling a bit, referring the puff of smoke, completely missing the rest of the question, as she seemed to be.......rather easily entertained.

The woman looked at her mildly displeased. It was clear she was easily amused, and that was the last thing she wanted. She had a odd feeling that she was just like...- "I like her!" A small voice called out from behind the woman's head. Slowly a much smaller head of flaming red hair popped out. It was a miniature girl, hair, bright as fire, and eyes as red as ruby's. "She seems nice, Rena!" The miniature girl spoke smacking the top of Rena's head softly. It was clear that she wouldn't even feel it with her scales. But Rena looked up annoyed not even tilting her head. "Kara why are you hiding in my hair again...?" Rena asked of the little girl upon her head. If anyone's guess, the small creature upon her head was a phoenix. The little creature ducked back into Rena's hair and clawed around.

"Because it's soft and smooth, like silk, it's soo comfortable!" She mused which seemed to annoy Rena even more then that. "Kara get out of my hair." She hissed at the small creature, as it began moving further down to hide. "No~! I don't wanna!" She called out which gave Rena the most annoyed look of all. Rena whipped her head sending her hair flying. The poor little creature couldn't keep ahold in the force that came. She was sent flying, it seemed as though she would hit the wall. She quickly began flapping the smooth fiery looking wings upon her back catching herself before she hit the wall. "Rena that was mean!" She whined and seemed to have a mid air temper tantrum.

Kira watched the whole thing with curious and confused look on her face, having a hard time not squeeling from cuteness.

"You can hide in my hair if you want." she chimed in, trying to stop this little arguement between the two before it got out of hand.

"Nope I can't!" Kara chimed in shooting back into Rena's hair. Snuggling back in, quite happily. Rena sighed, knowing full well why she went back into her hair. It was after all the closest thing to a bed the child could get. "She can't get into your hair, or touch you. She's a phoenix, if she touches you she will ignite your entire head into a raging inferno. I am the only one immune to her effects. Which is why phoenix younglings are often found with dragons. She isn't only enough to know how to control her fire yet, so I think it is best she remains in my hair." Rena spoke calmly with rather annoyed by the fact she was in her hair at all. She disliked it but put up with the child. After all it wasn't like she could kill her. She was a phoenix, every time she died she would just come back from the ashes. Such a bothersome child.

"Oh alright. She's still really adorable though." Kira replied.

"Oh, since she's a phoenix, would she be able to help with my ankle at all?" she asked, hoping that either one of them would be able to at least help with the pain.

"Like hell she will, trying to get this little air head to cry is damn well impossible." Rena spoke blatantly directing it to the Kara. The small head popped out of Rena's hair and bit onto her horn. Rena didn't even flinch and Kara just dangled from the horn by her mouth growling. Rena sighed and reached forward, her claw changing to a hand. Rena's hand pressed against Kira's ankle, taking a deep breath she pushed down. There was a loud crack, Rena proceeded to twist her ankle, creating a snap, then she smacked the bottom of her foot making a pop sound. All the while producing a large amount of pain in Kira's body. When she let go her hand turned back into a paw. "Try moving it now." Rena spoke with a blank expression. When she would do as she was told and tried to move it, it would move fine, without pain.

Despite the pain, Kira biting her bottom lip seemed to be enough to keep her quite, minus a few muffled crieds.

Twisting her foot around, stamping the ground lightly a few times, Kira no longer felt any pain.

"Wow, it's as good as new! Thank you so much !" Kira replied, moving forwardly and wrapping Rena up in a big hug, damn near knocking the two of them over.

Rena had a blank face as she was tackled. The one who was actually in distress was Kara who was barely escaped being impaled upon the ground. Not like one death would matter, but it still hurt, and she hated it. "You just dislocated you Ankle nothing more, it was easy to put it back in place." She spoke calmly laying on her back, watching Kara throwing a tantrum above them.

"Still, you helped me. You could have just ignored me and left me here, but you chose to help me, and I'm thankful for that." Kira replied.

"I want you to have this." she said, fishing around in the pack around her hips before coming out with a unique looking jewel. It had a fiery color to it, almost like flames were inside of it.

"It's called a Dragon's Jewel. It's a special jewel that elves make that symbolizes honor and friendship and all that. It's quite rare from what I here." she said, holding out the jewel for Rena.

"If you want something else, that's fine. But, I gotta repay you somehow." she added.
