Nicole woke up before the sun was even out as she does every morrning. streaching and getting out of bed to get dresed she glanced out her window and spotted a shadowy figure running outside, "probly just an animal" she thought. stripping her clothes as she went to her closet to get dressed so she could go running before work. she picked out a pair of black running pants and a dark blue sports bra to wear. her sports bra felt a little tight on her full C cup breasts and made a mental note to buy a new one after work. leaving her house and starting to run a steady speed after finding her rythem she ran throughout the small town were she lived. as she was returning home she heared what she thought were cats fighting and then saw the shadowy figure again and got alittle nerves. once she got home she stripped once again and stepped into the shower allowing the hot water run over her body. after she was finished she stepped out wrapping herself in a towel, letting her long brown hair air dry and headed to her room to get dressed for work. the sun by now was starting to rise and her clock read 6:45 which ment she had o hurry to get to the school ontime. quickly grabbing a black pencile skirt that hit her at knee leangth, and a light purple top she threw them on and ran out the door got in her car and headed to school. Nicole was the nurse foor the local high school in he town and has been for the past 5 years. today was her birthday afficaly making her 28 years old. she parked her car and started walking into school when she spotted a young girl standing by the door holding her shoulder. "are you ok?" she called out to the girl.
 
Trinity had been tracking a vampire that morning in the hopes of getting another kill before school started. It had been pretty easy vamps tended to get a lot more careless the closer it got to sunrise. The one she was following was now waiting outside some house and she smirked such stupid creatures. Trinity ran toward the house her twin daggers glinting in the light from the street lamps. Her speed was faster than most humans could follow so she wouldn't be recognizable if someone looked out their window. The vampire spotted her and shrank back before running she caught up with him in an alley and was fighting him when she sensed someone coming. Glancing back she noticed someone look her way then leave which made her thankful for the darkness. The break in her concentration was enough to give the vamp a chance to attack. Gritting her teeth she kept from screaming out as its bit her shoulder it gave her a change to murder it though so she was thankful.

However by the time it was dead she had to get to school so she rushed home and bandaged her wound lightly. She dressed quickly in her school uniform and grabbed her schoolbag before rushing to the school. Right as she reached the door though, the pain from the vampire's venom hit her. Vamp venom wasn't deadly to anyone but it hurt like hell when it hit her system, it was an anticoagulant which meant her blood was flowing freely. The bandage wouldn't last long at this rate so she stood outside gripping the wound to stop the bleeding considering walking away when she heard the nurse's voice.

"Uh..oh yeah I'm fine just a little sore" She lied mentally cursing herself "Karate killed me".
 
walking closer to the grl she noticed the bleeding and gasped "lets get you inside so i can bandage that properly" she quickly opened the doors allowing the girl to go first and headed down the hallways toword her office "karate my ass" she mumbled under her breath.when they reached her office she quickly unlocked the door and imedetly grabed clean bandages. nicole patted the bed motioning for the girl to sit. once the girl sat she quickly went to work unbuttoning the girl's shirt reavealing her bra and the bloody bandages. she un-wraping the poorly wrapped bandages she looked up at the girl who was blushing, "how did this really happen?" she asked when she saw the bite mark. waiting for the girl to answer she cleaned the wound and replaced the bandages with fresh tightly wrapped new ones. when she was done she sat back in her chair allowing the girl to put her shirt back on. looking over the girl she noticed a lot of bruses, her hazel eyes narrowed a bit and looked strait into the girl's eyes "well im still waiting for an answer..." seeeing how the girl wouldnt answer she proceded "...well you at least tell me your name?".
 
She swore audibly when the nurse noticed the blood and almost said damn vamps but held her tongue.

"Yes ma'am" She said walking inside her eyes darting around looking for an escape.

That was the last time she got cocky around dawn she didn't need this her day life and night life were supposed to be seperate. Her ears picked up the nurse's comment and she rolled her eyes. Getting the the office she sat down and gasped as the nurse quickly unbuttoned her shirt she moved her arm to stop her but ended up wincing as pain shot up it. Her shirt was open exposing her pale bruised skin to the nurse causing her to blush but wasn't sure why though she'd had her top ripped off and it had angered her.

"Easy" She said as another round of pain shot through her when the nurse was taking care of the wound.

She wouldn't answer the question the woman wouldn't believe her anyway. Slipping her shirt back on she pretended not to notice the nurse staring at her bruises and scars. She tucked a stray strand of her jet black hair behind her ear.

"Trinity" She said simply her strangely golden eyes meeting the nurses.
 
Nicole gasped a little when she saw the girls eyes. she couldnt stop staring at them almost if she was in a trance. quickly snapping herself out of it she cleared her throat "well Trinity I'm nurse Nicole" she smiled hoping it would ease the tention she felt from the girl "first off im sorry if that was alittle uncomfortable for you, me taking your shirt off without asking you first, but I needed to get to the bandages and the only other option was to cut your sleeve off, which i didnt think you would have liked". she stod and put her white lab coat on and sat back down. "also i would like to talk to you if you dont mind".
 
She noticed the gasp but held in a smirk it was often that people were shocked by her eye color. Though she wasn't comfortable about the continued eye contact and glanced away to break it.

"Okay" She said nodding as the nurse introduced herself "Its fine just would've been nice to have some warning".

She watched the woman put on her coat and absently scratched a scar on her leg.

"What do you wanna talk about" She asked with a shrug wincing slightly.

The pain from the venom was fading quickly now that the wound had been properly cleaned.
 
Nicole placed her hand on the girl's right knee and looked at her with a serious face, "Trinity i want you to be honest with me.." she paused trying to find the right words "has anyone...are you having problems at home?" she asked. "cause if you are i want you to know that im here to help you....but thats only if you let me"
 
She jumped feeling Nicole's hand on her knee and looked at her as she spoke.

"What...what are you talking about" She asked.

She held in a laugh a she asked about her home life. The only home problem she had was finding the vamp that had sired her.

"Thanks but its not what you think" She said lifting her hand off her knee "I'm fine I don't need help...is that all you wanted to talk about".
 
Nicole blinked "right...and no were not finished...then do you mind telling me were all your...injuries came from?" she tried to rephrase the question hoping to get some answers from Trinity."...is someone hurting you?"
 
"That's none of your concern" She said "And no there is no one hurting me".

She just wanted to leave now and get back to class this was none of Nicole's business.

"Can I go now" She asked her impatiently.
 
"I..I guess you can go now...and go to class" Nicole said hesitently she still wanted to know where and who was hurting Trinity. she watched as she left the office and thought of possibilities how to help someone who didnt want to be helped...or just to scared to ask for help. soon after Trinity left she went to the teacher's lounge to get a cup of coffe. "hey Nicole and happy birthday!" called out her friend Diana the english teacher. Nicole smiled turned around hugging Diana. "hey thanks Diana". she sat down at a table with Diana, "do you know anything about a girl named Trinity?" Nicole asked.
"Trinity.." Diana thought " Trinity..oh yes she is my english class very bright student but keeps to herself most of the time why?".
"do you know if she is having problems at home or anything?" she asked Diana
"i dont think so..i mean i havent ever meet her parents..they never come to teacher confrensses, ill keep an eye on her for you if you want" Diana Said.
"thank you ive got to get back to my office never know when someone gets hurt" she winked and left heading back to her office.
 
Trinity sighed and left the office rolling her eyes before walking to her class. She hoped that was the end of everything the last thing she wanted was for someone to find out anything about her beyond what they saw. Her day life was the only one that should matter to these people. Though she could tell that Nicole wasn't someone who'd let anything like this drop. Thankfully she made it through the school day with no problems except her English teacher kept looking at her.

"Finally" She sighed as school finally ended "I think I'll head home and get some food".

She walked home wondering what the hunt would be like that night she'd have to be more careful now otherwise she'd get herself hurt again.

"Hey mom I'm home" She said loudly walking into the house "Sorry I had to rush out this morning you know how it is".

There was no one else in the house of course she was talking to the photograph sitting on the table near the door. The picture had been taken five years ago and showed her mom hugging her and smiling happily. She set her bag down by the door and went into the kitchen to grab a drink.
 
Nicole hung up her lab coat and headed out the school building locking the door behind her. as she headed for her car she noticed Trinity walking home alone, it was still bothering her that she was covered with injuryies but yet to give her an explanation. "well if she wont tell me then i guess ill have to talk to her parents" she thought. she went back into the school building and headed twords the office hoping to find Trinity's home address or a phone number at least. after rumaging through tons of papers she finally found an address and a number "today must be my lucky day" she said to herself. using the office phone Nicole dialed the number on the paper hoping that someone would pick up but it went straight to voicemail, "well then i guess it cant be helped i hope they dont mind if i drop by" she waited for the beep "hi this is Nicole Fletcher the school nurse, and i wanted to see if there was some way i could talk to you about Trinity..." she started leaving a voicemail but was cut off by a clicking noise and then the phone went dead. "odd", she put the phone down and left the school building with tha paper in hand. looking at the address she drove to the house. after reaching the house she slowly walked to the front door, she noticed that there were no cars in the driveway. she knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.
 
She'd changed out of her uniform and was dressed in a blood red tank top and black jeans when the phone rang. Sitting down on the couch she decided to let voice mail pick up until she heard Nicole's voice and suppressed a growl. That woman was so persistence so she picked up the phone then hung it back up hoping that would dissuade her.

"Persistent woman" She sighed softly and got her homework out.

She was partially finished with her math when she heard a knock at the door. Hoping it wasn't Nicole she stood up and went to the door opening and had to suppress a snarl at seeing Nicole.

"Can I help you with something?" She asked her voice flat and neutral.
 
"I'm sorry to desterb you im here to talk to your parents are they here?" Nicole asked nervesly seeing as how Trinity looked upset plus it wwas starting to get dark out.
 
Annoyance flickered past her features for a moment and she sighed softly.

"No mom's not here" She said to her "Its just me...what do you want".

She noticed the sun was starting to set and she wanted to swear she couldn't believe this woman would come here so close to nightfall.
 
"oh umm ok do you know when she'll be home?" Nocole asked still standing in the door way shivering a little because it was starting to get cold.
 
"No I don't" She said her eyes focusing behind Nicole as it grew darker.

She needed to go hunting soon otherwise someone might die. The anxiousness was showing in her eyes.

"Look...I've got homework to do" She said lying through her teeth.
 
"umm ok ill come back later then" she said backing away from the door. as she turned to leave she bumped into someone or rather something. "im so sorry.." she said as she looked up appologising but stoped in mid sentace and gasped as the thing grabed her by the waist spining her around so that now she was facing Trinity.
 
"Two for one" The vampire chuckled "I think I've hit the jackpot".

He smiled his fangs flashing in the moonlight as Trinity's eyes flashed to red.

"You dare hunt in my domain full-blood" She growled her voice taking on a feline growl "You'll pay for this insolence".

The vampire was taken aback by her change but still smirked she wasn't full by any means. He dismissed her as a weak halfbreed and went to sample from his easy meal. Trinity however was already out the door grabbing one of the twin daggers that hung on the wall nearby.

"Release the human" She roared "Or I'll skewer you".
 
Nicole was to scared to move, she just watched as Trinity's eyes changed from gold to red and her Personality switch as well. the vampire's voice and Trinity's threatening growl sent a chill down her spine."what the hell is going on! what did she mean by full-blood?", her mind was raceing. her eyes widened when the vampire licked her neck and she started to panic. she struggled to escape but that just caused the vampire to tighten his hold. Nicole felt the vampire bite down on her neck, she screamed out in pain. the pain was to much, she started blacking out.
 
"NO" She roared and rushed forward using her hand to push the vampire away.

She caught Nicole before she fell and had snarled again at the vampire.

"You interrupt my meal half-breed" He snarled at her "I have barely had a taste".

She laid Nicole down on the ground rage reading on her features as she looked at the vampire.

"You hunt in my territory and openly mock me" She said angrily "I will make you suffer".

She launched herself at the vampire and it dodged a kick. He countered by trying to punch her but she dropped to one knee and swept his feet out from under him.

"You can't match me full blood" She said planting one foot in his stomach "I am stronger than you".

She stabbed her blade into his chest and drug it downward to completely destroy it heart. Wiping her blade on his clothes she turned to Nicole and sighed softly thankful that a mere bite wouldn't turn a human. She picked her up and carried her inside and laid her on the couch cursing herself for not just attacking him as soon as he grabbed Nicole.
 
Nicole felt herself being caught and placed on the ground. she just watched the fight between Trinity and the vampire in horror. she struggled to keep her eyes opened but by the time the fight was over she had already blackedout. a few hours later she slowly opened her eyes, trying to focus on her soroundings in the darkness. she saw the outline of a figure sitting on a chair holding something that looked like two knives. she quickly sat up causeing her to cry out alittle in pain,the vamiper's veniom still coursing through her vains. "please dont hurt me" she managed to say as she fell into a cold sweat. the figure stood up and walked to the couch knives in hand, its eyes seemed to be glowing. her mind was still alittle foggy and she couldnt see straigt, so to her the figure looked like the vamipre that hurt her. "p..please stay way" she said holding her hand up.
 
Trinity sat on the chair sharpening her knives waiting for Nicole to wake up. She'd taken care the vampire and bandaged up Nicole's wounds while she'd been passed out. Her eyes flicked up to Nicole and she felt relieved to see her awake and stood when she'd sat up.

"Don't move too quickly" She said going over to her.

When she heard Nicole speak she stopped a sad look on her face. Setting her daggers down she knelt by Nicole.

"Its okay...its me Trinity" She said softly "I won't hurt you".
 
"Trinity?" she said slowly as she calmed down she felt very weak. Nicole reached her hand out and touched Trinity's cheek, suddenly her mind started raceing. "Trinity! what happened? were am I? who or what was that thing? are you ok, are you hurt?...and what are you?" she asked, asking her last question causiously. she looked Trinity in the eyes searching for the answers. a shiver shook her body,she was cold and not relizing why until she looked down. her shirt had been taken off and the only things covering her was bandages and a blanket. her cheecks went bright red as she quickly covered herself with the blanket. "w-wheres my shirt?" she asked not looking at Trinity.
