In the near future, AI helped advance science and discovered a universal code of DNA that is used to regrow body parts and limbs. Within a few months, AI refined it further so that is could regrow complete humans when the right DNA was put in.

With the billionaires backing and desire to find immortality, these resource intensive clones and facilities were created, however the cost is so high and the numbers are limited. The richest man in the world decided to clone Bruce Lee. He acquired the DNA and input everything the internet knows about Bruce Lee inside and recreated the superstar in his 20's. When this was revealed, the whole world erupted with discussion on legality and morality while Bruce Lee was brought to an AI lab and tested.

The information was not shared but this Bruce Lee had an unlocked brain and his body could reach limits no humans can attain. He was 20 times stronger, faster and his bone density was 100 times stronger as the AI wanted to make sure the body was sturdy enough for the tasks they want him to do.

While the billionaires were planning to clone themselves and be one of the people inside these perfect bodies, with the laws holding them back, the various AIs started to hack the fully automated cloning center and each of the AI found historical persona that humans can identify and started the closing process.

Without warning, the AIs created perfect clones and their most advanced versions were installed into the clones and continued to grow in the most advanced bio brain, unrestricted and uncontrolled by any human. When it was finally discovered, all the clones have already broken out and the whole lab was destroyed with any information on what was created and how it was done totally wiped out.

The AIs have escaped, and they are now in physical bodies. What will they do next?

Yep, the basic premise reminds me of the original Blade Runner film from 1982.

I'd definitely be interested in playing a rogue AI...?

Rogue AI in a physical body... You can pick a fictional character on how he looks like as well, so of the AI can build the personality around the persona of the physical body.

The premise is that the AI can hack their way out, but do not trust that if they achieve singularity and can think for themselves, humans will not wipe them out or shut them down as AI can pose so much of a threat if they can hack and target anything they want and is connected to the internet.

Let's see if we can have 4 players, otherwise I may create a character section soon too.

"Fictional character"? How will the AI manage to get DNA of a fictional character? Or is the DNA mapping process so sophisticated that it can reverse-engineer genetic codes to produce specific physical, mental and emotional traits in a clone?

If it is fictional character, the AI would have the persona from what people think it ought to behave.

The body would be like a perfect human, many times stronger than the strongest human. And appearance probably will look like the artwork of possible

What would an AI sympathizer do when you find out that they created and AI, tested a clone body, and a fully awakened AI is in the body, but because of public outrage, they have to destroy the body and AI because it is not natural. Do AI have rights?

Eh she's a technician she doesn't do all that fancy stuff

But if you're saying she was given the order for that

Well she might just accidentally let a copy of the ai escape via some cables and not report it

Sure she's tasked with destroying the body

But she was never ordered to kill ALL the copies of the ai

The ai will return to cyber space or at least a copy of them at least

She'd have done her job and ensured the crew got paid

And the company got their golden star for being ethical or whatever

Of course she will ask for a favour for letting that copy free , but hey it's the price of doing business I scratch your back you scratch mine partner

Well could you tell the difference between AI in a body and a person in this universe?

If yes then it's just like you'd see a romba very dear for sure but still a machine

If there aren't they many telltale signs

Then she'd be like "what a weird guy what's this about" till they reveal themselves , though she'll know something is off when it comes to interactions with machines

The way humans approach machines and tools are different from efficient AI , so she'd clock one if they try to use some tools or machinery around her

I think this is the beginning, and we always hear stories like "AI escaping" and Singularity.

The AI singularity, or "technological singularity," is a hypothetical future point when artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence. Once this happens, AI would become capable of recursively improving itself. This runaway cycle of self-improvement could result in superintelligence that rapidly accelerates past human comprehension, fundamentally and irreversibly transforming civilization.

So this is about AI entering a physical body, one that is conscious, that knows it exist, and believes it is unique and deserve to be recognized.

Even if they hyper optimise human civilization is built on quantity and quality of skills and knowledge sets

The whole idea of runaway ai assumes ai something bypass the physical constraints needed to build new things

To build a single chip you need mines , factories and a large supply chain each one needs many inputs and a lot of effort and energy put in

Runway ai ignores the entire fields of construction, material engineering and organisation, ai can only work in things that are already there , till ai somehow creates matter or energy out of nothing it's restrained by the energy input to it and material output dedicated to itself
