Los Angeles always had crime problems, but nothing had ever really come up that was this bad. In early 2015, they had the outbreak of the latest high grade drug, simply known as 'Venus'. Human trafficking practically lived on the drug, and such a big city like LA meant that there was lots of Venus production, and plenty of problems because of it.

Reports of young adults going missing, gang wars over Venus production...it was an endless cycle of increased crime not seen since the Prohibition Era. So that's why the LA Police Force had established the Rapid Deployment Police. Heavily armed, highly trained units decided to spear through everything these gangs could offer, lethal force was always authorized.

But not every day was an exciting one right off the bat, a problem noted by Office Eliza Walker with a weary sigh, her legs propped up on her desk; navy blue leg over navy blue as she reclined back, her lavender eyes scanning over a passerby in irritation, almost instantly the officer continued on her way.

She sighed yet again, taking a deep breath. She was a blond haired, blue eyed American girl who had problems sitting still sometimes, especially when her job was so frantic with bouts of lethargy between. They were for the serious stuff, not every single bank robbery required their sledgehammer touch to the matter...other days, she just didn't like sitting at her desk and doing paperwork.

She fingered her tag over one of her her double-d breasts idly. Today was one of those days.

"Slow day today," She said idly. "Guess Monday's suck for everyone, huh?" Something would be better, gossip...maybe a drug report..something! Everything was still under investigation, and it made her antsy to just sit here with her partner and wait for things to happen, she preferred a more straightforward touch to things.

Alexandra sat at her desk across from her partner, idly flipping through a report on the spread of Venus throughout the city. Her legs were crossed casually, and she leaned back in the cheap chair that the department provided. The lumbar support was a bit lacking, didn't they know that police officers had a tendency to get back problems? Well, it was what she got, no need complaining.

Alexandra was fine with a slow morning, there would be plenty of excitement to go around as the week progressed, so right now she could relax. An FNP-45 was loaded in a holster on her right hip, and a skilled eye could spot evidence of an ankle holster on the inside of her right ankle. When she was deployed, her weaponry was different, since she was part of one of the most heavily armed parts of the entire LAPD.

"Later this week, when we're being called out ever hour, you'll be wishing it was this quiet." Alexandra said, glancing up from the report at her partner. "I bet there'll be at least one thing for us to do today, Venus certainly isn't slowing its spread." The officer added, tapping the report that she held in her hand. Alexandra through the report down on the desk, letting the packet of paper slide across the polished wood. "Any minute now, the alarm is going to go off, and we'll both be running out to go track down some more drug dealers or something of the sort."

"Hope so," Eliza smiled easily, grabbing the leather holstered 1911A1 on her desk to fit it around her shoulder as she rose up with a content stretch. Talk about poor lumbar support indeed, there was a reason she reclined on the shitty things. But sometimes, usually often..dear old Alex had an alarming trait of being highly accurate with her predictions.

Because sure enough, there was the heavy buzz of the alarm. Eliza glanced over at her conspiratorially, but split her beautiful face into a wide grin. "Well, it's better than paperwork..come on!" She said all too eagerly, heading down to armory. They got briefed on the way, if they were called then it was too serious to waste time on.

When the loud sound of the alarm cut through the air, a grin came across Alexandra's face. Time for some work away from the desk. "Yes, let's go catch some shitheads." She said, following her partner, as well as the other officers of the RDP, towards the armory. Their Lieutenant came up beside them and talked about the mission. Apparently, a warehouse had been located where they suspected there were not only large stores of drugs, but humans being exposed to Venus. This would be a big bust.

When they reached the armory, Alexandra quickly stripped down to her underwear without worried about the people around her, changing into the black tactical gear of the RDP. She changed in a systemic manner, because she did it often, and it wasn't long until she was pulling the thin leather gloves over her fingers.

"Guess things are getting worse," Eliza murmured, tugging the zipper up over her chest before she clipped on her belt of .45 magazines and slid on a tactical vest, light and maneuverable, with high impact plates in the chest and back. These gangsters don't fool around, they were loaded for bear. And it had been a long time since they had caught people in the act of it, they were getting arrogant..and they were going to fix that.

Eliza reached into the weapons rack and pulled off a G36C, her favored weapon. Her vest was already loaded with magazines as she folded the stock, hand on the forward grip with a sigh. She was excited, but more work did mean more problems.

"It certainly seems like it is." Alexandra said as she pulled over her head as a helmet, which had a short visor to cover her eyes but left the rest of her face exposed, though the space was often covered by a gas mask, to prevent accidentally inhaling the dangerous drug. She had seen what it did to the other women that had it, she didn't want that to happen to herself.

The next thing she pulled out was her MP5/10, pulling back the bolt an eighth of an inch to see the shining brass in the chamber. A Aimpoint Micro T-1 was attached on the top of the submachine gun, with a 3-sided rail on the foregrip. A folding foregrip was attached to the bottom rail, with a flashlight one one side and a Countashot, which helped her know when she would have to reload, to the other rail. Alexandra slid the tactical sling over her shoulder before clicking the flashlight on and off to make sure it was working. "Come on, let's go." The officer said as she slammed her locker shut, turning to go to where the armoured vehicles sat.

"Right behind you, boss." Eliza replied, fiddling with the EOTech 552 to make sure it was secure on the top rail. She didn't need that fancy Countashot. The magazines to her G36C were transparent, a sling was always mandatory, as was a Tango-Down foregrip with a flashlight on the three side-rail.

The RDP were more concerned about getting the job done than uniform weapons, as long as they were comfortable it hardly mattered what it was, provided there was a proper caliber involved. Eliza slid on her half-mask with a small sigh, she hated the plastic air the breathing filters provided..but it was better than getting the stuff in your system.

"We got reports of shots fired," The lieutenant informed the faceless team. "We go in guns blazing, they're armed, they go down. We sort out the bad from the good later, we clear?"

"Sir." The entire group said as the heavy van rolled into the harbor district, typical..shipping warehouses were common places for human trafficking, hard as they tried to stop it. Eliza jerked her head slightly on reflex when she heard a bullet ping against the side, the roar of gunfire already out and about.

"Well, guess we're a bit late." She replied dryly, racking the charging handle and flicking the selector switch to semi-auto.

Alexandra adjusted the telescoping stock of the weapon, closing it for easier maneuvering within the cramped trucks of the RDP. She was pumped for some action, especially with the danger that she knew would be part of today's mission. She pulled the gas mask over her face, tightening the straps and releasing the valve so that she could breath.

When the round hit the vehicle, she mumbled a curse under her breath, since she was, like she often was, hoping that this would be fixed without shooting anyone. This wasn't one of those days. When the vehicle came to a stop, the officer closest to the door threw it open, and Alexandra followed behind him, extending the stock of her submachine gun as she exited, keeping both eyes open as she aimed through the reflex sight. She kept her eyes on the various windows, and seeing a man in one of them raising a Steyr AUG, she flicked the 4-position selector into 2-round burst and pulled the trigger, the 10mm rounds striking him in the chest, causing him to drop the assault rifle.

She stopped to the side of a door, and another officer proceeded to boot it in. Alexandra moved inside, screaming at the people inside to drop their weapons and get down on the ground.

Eliza was on the opposite side, sweeping the G36C across the the open warehouse curiously. There were plenty of shipping crates, some half opened and looking in the process of being unloaded, the contents were vacuum packed and sealed. Eliza carefully moved toward one of the half opened crates, peering inside one of the boxes.

"We got Venus!" She called over the warehouse, but there was an even greater worry. Gunshots roared across the warehouse floor as Eliza spun herself around and brought her EOTech on the head of a gunner, two rounds and he was down in a puff of blood, more gunfire rippled out as gang members poured in.

"Incoming! Take cover!" an RPD officer cried, these gangsters were serious about this Venus, taking it would be a huge loss of investment for them. They had to be in the middle of something, there was no way there was this many on a casual check!
