Hello, you who read these lines.
Call me Havenfyr. And as most of us here, I'm in search of role playing partners. And as no one (I suppose) is looking for everything, I start this search explaining who I am.
Name: Havenfyr. If you act nice, you'll get to know my real name. Mostly because I like to keep separated my identity from my e-identity.
Sexuality: Straight male. Nothing more, no less either. That's a line I won't cross, with all the respect I have for the homosexuals and bisexuals.
Age: Though I'll like to keep the actual number secret for now, I'll say I'm in my late twenties. I think I'm mature enough... but that's up to my partners to say.
Language: English or Spanish. I'm Chilean and that means that English is not my main language. I apologize for my less than perfect grammar, and I'm trying to improve it the best I can. Seriously.
Literacy: I don't like to align to any of the so called 'literacy categories' (semi-lit, lit, advanced lit and such). But I usually write from one to two paragraphs, the latter being more common. The custom is to write in third person, past tense, but if you and I get a deal, I would like to try first person, present tense. It opens the possibility to show 'other' details, in a different way: feelings, impressions and sensations. But it's just an idea. More commonly I'll role play in third person.
Related to the formality of the role play, I would mostly play in PMs or, after discussion, through e-mail or instant messaging. Not in a thread, for personal reasons (mostly privacy).
One last point I'll like to say is that I could easily be classified as a geek. Comic books, videogames, pen and paper role playing, fantasy books. I got them all. But that's only one part of my life, and what had, in the end, made me reach this place at first. That would be reflected later here, in what I'm looking for role playing.
Now, like I said before, I'm not in search of any role play partner. There are some things that I like, some things that are my kinks, some things that I'm willing to try and some things I would never play. Here it is, my will do and will not do list.
First, to get it clear, are the things I will not do. My line on the sand:
I'm pretty sure that will get away many of the potential partners. But oh well, I guess we are not all equals.
And with the things I will be actively searching in a role play:
And for last, but not least, here are the plot ideas I will be seeking the most. Not that I'm not open to other ideas, but given my geeky background...
As you can see, I don't mention what role my partner should play. That's because I like to either discuss the role with my partner first or give her the space to make up the character by her own. I'm no one to constrain someone to a specific role. As I'm more than willing to discuss any other setting or plot idea my partner would suggest.
I hope that this extended piece of gray text hasn't scared you, and that it could at least interest a bit your role playing strings. If so, don't hesitate to contact me through a PM.
Best regards,
Call me Havenfyr. And as most of us here, I'm in search of role playing partners. And as no one (I suppose) is looking for everything, I start this search explaining who I am.

- Being penetrated, either by a penis or a toy.
- Anything related to piss or shit. It's gross for a reason.
- More than one partner.
- Linked to the previous point, not more than three characters involved in the same sexual scene. Narrowing this point, I would only try a male (my character) with two female characters.
- Bondage or sadomasochism. And in a extent, being directly violent to my partner's character. To 'secondary' characters it's okay.
I'm pretty sure that will get away many of the potential partners. But oh well, I guess we are not all equals.
And with the things I will be actively searching in a role play:
- Relationship. Not for me, of course, but a relationship between the characters. That way the plot develops smoothly. Or better said, it creates a subplot.
- Action. Not all in here should be smut, right? I like when there can be an action packed scene in my role plays, either involving martial arts, extreme feats or use of weapons. The more details there, the better.
- Fun. Everyone likes a good laugh. I've had too much drama filled role plays. So if a situation or scene in the plot can end up with a rimshot, I assure you both would enjoy it. Comedy can be a base for a good role play.
- Ethics. I have my core pretty much well formed, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to new perspectives. I always like (and in a way, I encourage) to put ethical decisions in my role plays. I think that it's really good for both the developing of the plot and for the people behind the characters to question the same dilemmas that the character faces. "What would I do in the character's place" is something I like to ask myself.
And for last, but not least, here are the plot ideas I will be seeking the most. Not that I'm not open to other ideas, but given my geeky background...
- Justice League, the new generation: As the name implies, the idea is to play the second generation of super heroes in a world that needs them desperately. In this setting I would usually play as the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane (Superman II), as Dick Grayson (Batman II) or a newly named Green Lantern. I adscribe to the canonic interpretation of the comic books, so no plots related to movies, animated series or TV series.
- The demon has called: This is a mixture of some sources, but the idea is that there is something more than what the eye can see, and that the temptation comes from creatures out of this world. In particular, the young people usually get tempted to practice the dark arts, with a wide degree of success or failure. The ones who win become slaves of their own lust. The ones who fail... well, it's called damnation for a reason. My character here would be a high school student that finds in his school library a book that describes these dark arts and starts to try them as a game... not knowing what it implies. This setting has a debt of gratitude with the works of H.P. Lovecraft, for the ones that know him.
- In the name of the Light: This is probably my 'geekiest' setting. It's situated in the World of Warcraft world, and it could be before or after the fall of the Lich King. My character here it's a half-elf paladin, living among the humans and deeply committed to fight the Undead Scourge. An Argent Crusader by heart and by honor, he is too zealous to see that something more terrible than the lord of Northrend is about to break through Azeroth. Literally...
As you can see, I don't mention what role my partner should play. That's because I like to either discuss the role with my partner first or give her the space to make up the character by her own. I'm no one to constrain someone to a specific role. As I'm more than willing to discuss any other setting or plot idea my partner would suggest.
