Bryan did not know what to do his fathers death came suddenly and without warning no one had even planned his funeral. Having worked on the farm his entire life his father refused to even talk to him after he left for school. Now that the farm was in trouble with the bank Bryan returned like a good son. His sisters all seven of them were almost indentured servants happily doing every job from feeding the cows to fixing the milk machine “I don’t care I am not a vet I am a doctor” he yelled to his mom who was set on him coming back to the farm.
The farm was old and on the edge of town though it once held a thousand fewer then a hundred milk cows remained. “But you’re father wanted you to take over the farm” damn old man one of his seven sister could easily run the place.. But his dad was from the old country and every farm had to have a man run it. His sisters did almost everything as far as he knew he would simple have to come once a week and rubber stamp a few papers.
“Look I wont give up my summer vacation why do I have to sped three months here I mean its not like I will be doing any of the work” running hsi hands through his blonde hair he gave out a huff he hatted the country. It was many long years since he saw his sister they should all be teenagers the oldest out of high-school. He looked at his mother across the table did she really expect him to him up his life long dream.
