Nathan was in an alleyway hiding. He was devouring a succulent morsel of meat he stole from the butcher shop earlier. Enjoying the taste to the last bit, he soon finished it and curled up into a ball. Feeling safe behind the dumpster and out of view, he soon lulled off to sleep, hoping nothing would happen.
 
Its been some days now in the city rolls a rumor of a beast. People say the have seen in the night, but none could describe it.Amaya was bit strange as she was a child, she always liked the unknown and always believed that none should be judge from the looks. Thinks that those people react to much about the beast and maybe it is not what they think...
That was she thinking while getting in the Collage walking in the allays!
 
Nathan's sensitive ears picked up the sounds of footsteps and he jumped up but stayed hidden by the dumpster and in the shadows. He was trying to shoo off a fly buzzing around but it was no use and soon he sneezed a loud sneeze right as the girl passed the dumpster.
 
Amaya walking slowly lost in her thoughts...suddenly she listen a loud sneezing...the sound wasn't human...she made a step when she stop...She started feeling sth strange in the air ...there was a feeling that there was something hiding behind those dumpsters...I normal person would walk by ...but Amaya couldn't just forget it so she wend to see what's behind there...
As she approached ...
 
As she approached, Nathan began to whimper. Thinking she was there to end him, he became scared and didn't want to die. He kept as silent as he could but the whimpering made him sound like an ordinary dog, though she was close enough to tell the darkly figure was human and not dog, minus the ears pertruding from his head.
 
Amaya listen to the breathing she though it must be a animal...What kind she did not know...She felt a bit scared but she wanted to find out what was there ...so suddenly she she move her head while she was so close ...she saw the shadow at first ...looked a bit like a dog...So she just said with a calm voice "Who is there..."
 
Nathan remained quiet but knew he was going to die anyway. He stood up and walked out into the light, showing the beast. Himself. He looked scared at the blood from the raw meat was still a bit on his lip looking like he ate something that was alive.

Nathan- Don't kill me...please...I'm a lost soul.
 
Amaya got a bit scared when she saw the beast reveling but she was more surprised that she got a answer....
She looked the beast with her pure black eyes trying to relaxing and believing in her eyes...
Amaya- "I will not kill you...just ...ah! just ...

She just hold herself from the wall still looking the beast and the blood...trying to understand that this was real!
 
Nathan- Sh! Shhh! If you're too loud, they'll come...Please...don't hurt me, I'm a lost soul...my home, I wake up from a sleep and I'm in a new world...my home, I read and overheard, its been destroyed for a century...I'm the only one left...
 
Amaya hears everything the beasts says ...has now find that it was real and she gets closer to the beast...
Takes a wet napkin out and try to clean the blood form the beast...her hand calm comes closer to the his face cleaning bit by bit his face and mouth....
whispers "Calm down...tell me what happened"
 
Nathan- I dunno...I just wake up in this exact Alley one morning...And the world is changed...I find out my home, its gone, destroyed, turned to dust for an unknown reason....I don't know what to do...
 
Amaya starts having a feeling to help this beast...but she is scared a bit still...
Amaya wishpears again:" You name, what's you name? where you always like that?"
Gets closer and sits near the beast...
"Where you leave now here...we may have to get somewhere save ?"
 
Nathan whimpered a bit.

Nathan- My name is Nathan Stone...And yes, all my people were born with the animals...And I don't know anyplace safe...this is the only place I can call home.
 
Amaya is again looking at Nathan...his breath has a bit calm down...
-"Nathan my name is Amaya , Masami Amaya maybe the answers lays with the destroyed home...maybe we should live there until the secret is reviled ...I would glad help you ...Dont know why I think I should help you"
Lookedat Nathan "what you thinking?"
 
Nathan- I'm...I'm thinking about why you would go out of your way to help me...I already am in the destroyed home...This place...this town was built over it... I'm searching for the answers as to why my home was destroyed.
 
Amaya thinks looking at Nathan...
"Nathan there must be some thing we can start with...I not leaving you alone like that"
She says and stands up "lets go somewhere save for now after that we can try find more answers"
Amaya waiting for Nathan answer as the wind waves her long black hair!
 
Nathan looks at her and smiles before embracing her in a hug.

Nathan- Thank you... Thank you sooo much! You're the only one who is ever willing to help me...
 
Feeling Nathan hug Amaya is a bit afraid but that makes her not lose her calmness...thinking of her small apartment in the basement of an old building...looks at Nathan
Amaya -"I leave in a small apartment not many people leave there I think we can stay there for now, I also have some old books I never could really read or understand...but I think there was a figure like yours as an logo on it...should take a look maybe we could get an answer there"
Amaya starts walking slowly showing Nathan the way to her home...
 
Nathan does not leave the shadows of the alley. He just watches her off and he has a sorrowful look.

Nathan- I can't...not now...not in day where everyone can see me and attempt to kill me...I don't want to die Amaya, I want to stay alive so I can live a full life.
 
Amaya is a bit lost...she returns back and sits close to Nathan...
Amaya"I think you right...then shall we wait here ...I will wait with you after all in few hours it will be dark"
Looks again Nathan with those Dark Black eyes!
 
Nathan gazed into her dark eyes and blushed a bit. They were beautiful. He wished the blush was hidden by the darkness of the alley but it wasn't.

Nathan- Why are you helping me?
 
She comes closer to Nathan so that the shadow can hide them both...So close she can feel his breathing...
Amaya-"Cause when I was small I got lost deep in the forest then a old man helped basically saved me...so after that I can not stop helping some one in need and the days I spend with old man until getting back home he always told me that nothing is what it seemed...I grow believing in that so I am thinking I have to help you like then the old man help me..."
 
Nathan- Old man...?

He smiled and leaned his head on her shoulder to relax. He felt safe with her. He actually had a friend and he felt all was good for the moment.
 
Amaya-"Never found out his name..."

Amaya feeling Nathan Relaxing close to her ... she fills not more as scared as the begin...she relax with him letting her back lay on the wall while Nathan on her shoulder...time starts passing by faster while only their breath can be heart...
 
Nathan- Am I...am I startling you...? You're breathing is abnormal...I'm sorry I shouldn't have...

He got up from leaning his head on her shoulder and he scooted away from her so she'd feel more safe.
