The thousand arms apartment complex was one of the first that many travelers would find as they left the spaceport. It wasn't something incredibly fancy which is why it was one of the first stops for many of the systems refugees and people who didn't want to run into any imperial agents and have the law poking into what ever they were trying to do.
Garraus dealt with all kind of species that came through his doors and most of the time he was able to tell just who they were with one little sniff and find their scent. He ran and owned the apartment complex where mostly non human species lived in but he was also one of the only creatures who would willingly rent rooms out to humans but often used them almost as his personal slaves and errand runners so that any profit they made while working was put back into his profit and keeping the humans needing him for shelter and what little pocket money they could get.
Garraus just shook his head and watched as a mantis like creature was trying to make its way to the lift. "you better not be trying to sneak out and stiff me my rent, it's due." He let out a low growl as he watched the creature before he went back to the books in front of him
He enjoyed toying with his humans and enjoyed the reactions that he got from them. He knew that no where else really would take humans in not with what the drej did to earth and humanity and spread them across the far reaches of the known galaxy.
