Greetings and salutations! I'm a long-time role-player and writer. I read a lot of books, fiction and non-fiction, I like to get outside and touch grass (or, better, long walks,) lift some weights, do some martial arts, ride some bikes. My current thinky stuff is about hyperreality (from Baudrillard) and its intersection with hypernormalization. So... yeah, I'm a nerd!
What I Offer:
I like plot-driven, interactive, dynamic play. I generally post frequently because I'm usually by my computer. By the evolving standards of the community, my posts aren't long, oh, probably in the 200 to 400 words area most of the time, with the occasional longer post for particularly complex scenes. My goal is to write as briefly as possible but as long as necessary, to give my partners a springboard for their posts, while maintaining a sense of mystery and allowing for multiple branching paths.
I like action, intrigue, and romance. I need at least two of those or the odds are that I'll get bored with the play. All of my play is plot-driven, even when it gets smutty, heck, particularly then. I'll lose interest in the play if there is no emotional connection between the characters (while admitting that passionate obsession is, itself, an emotional connection, but my character has to feel it.) As such, plot tends to dominate my RPs.
In terms of sexual RP, I'm pretty simple. I enjoy the things most people enjoy, and don't like the things most people don't like. Anything more than light BDSM and it's likely going to be too much for me. Most importantly, I'm relatively indifferent to the D/s dynamic. My very strong preference is that all the characters are narrative and sexual partners. Switch dynamics are great, though!

I'm not a big fan of "slice of life" unless it has some fairly serious intrigue in it (soap-opera style play,) but if it does have soapy stuff? Great!
