The XVth Legion
Operating mainly from Castrum Eremum on the outskirts of Eastern Thanalan. This newly formed legion is still relatively unknown, flying below the radar of the Eorzean Alliance by remaining low-key in their activities. Their subtle, silent approach rather than the more forceful methods of other legions is thanks to their current Legatus, Julian Van Lysus.

Though make no mistake, despite their secrecy they are no less dangerous. And if rumors were to be believed, discontent may be growing within their ranks...

Personality: Level-headed, affable though quietly capable of cruelty.
Basic Info: Though surprisingly young for a Legatus, he shows great aptitude for statesmanship despite not being as battle-hardened as his older brother. Shares an extremely tight bond with Petra, his second in command.

Personality: Though a fierce woman on the battlefield; with a voice to match, she is known for being a mother to those under her command.
Basic Info: Born into a poor family. Petra joined the Garlean military at a young age, quickly rising through the ranks due to the natural skill she possessed. She would then be noticed by the Lysus family, becoming Julian's personal retainer and bodyguard. To this day, she is still unflinchingly loyal to him.

Janus Sas Lysus

Job: Dragoon-Gunbreaker hybrid.
Personality: Arrogant, manipulative and unpredictable. Comes across as affable but it's a thinly veiled facade.
Basic Info: Though undoubtedly a very talented soldier and commander, Janus is bitter over his younger brother being appointed Legatus of the XVth. Shows disdain for Petra due to her poor background. He is also known for his 'Gunlance', a weapon that is a cross between a Gunblade and a Halberd. Though he sparingly uses it, opting for a Gunblade if he sees his quarry as beneath him.

Koyasu Sas Vespae

Job: Samurai
Personality: Cold and menacing as he can be, but he is also protective of those under his command.
Basic Info: Originally from Doma before he was conscripted. He is the current Commander of Castrum Eremum and has the respect of his men, both Garlean and non-Garlean alike.

Monica Rem Corvus

Basic Info: A conscript from an Imperial province. Her loyalty to Petra is without question and as such is one of the few non-Garleans that Petra has complete faith in. She is Petra's second in command,

Basic Info: Originally from the Golmore Jungle. Siar was one of the many who fled during the Garlean occupation of Ivalice, though some feel he abandoned his fellow brothers rather than stay and fight. Now an exile, he spends his days wandering Eorzea, never quite staying in one place for too long.

Edric, The Mercenary Dragoon

Personality: Well-mannered and upbeat.
Basic Info: A Sharlayan native who was accidentally left behind in his younger years during the Sharlayan exodus of Idyllshire. Taken in by a passing family with connections to the Temple Knights of Ishgard, Edric sought to repay their kindness by joining the Knights Dragoon. Becoming disillusioned with the Archbishop, he left Ishgard and started plying a trade as a mercenary, his latest target being a corrupt high ranking Ul'dah Sultansworn, His current whereabouts are unknown.

Personality: Unpredictable, harsh and quick to choose violence. But also loyal, honorable and courageous.
Basic Info: Hailing from the Azim Steppe, she left her tribe to seek out stronger prey; believing the Steppe offered little in the way of challenging marks. Since then she has made a name for herself as a mercenary and has recently been contracted by the Ul'dah Syndicate to hunt down a certain Hyur fugitive.
