It was just past midnight when his phone rang. The name of his daughter's friend lit up the screen - unexpected, blurry. He was confused but picked up. She sounded ...out of it. Drunk, maybe crying. He couldn't really tell. She mumbled something about needing a ride. Picking up on the seriousness of the situation, he didn't ask questions. He just said he was on his way.

He found her outside a bar, makeup smudged and arms wrapped around herself in a sexy little bodycon dress. She looked incredible in the outfit but clearly the night hadn't been kind to her. He pulled up to the curb and popped open the passenger door. Getting inside, she didn't say much the whole ride, only whispering she couldn't go back to her apartment, not with him there. So he nodded and kept driving. Making the spare room at his place available, he gave her a T-shirt to sleep in, one a size too big and didn't press further. No questions or prompts: just wishing her a good night.

The next morning, she stumbled into the kitchen around 9. Hair a mess and eyes red; still beautiful, even with that awkward, embarrassed body language. The air was tense and quiet. Then he asked, gently:

"Do you need somewhere to stay for a while?"

Hi there everyone. I'd like to do a story with an age gap between a 40-42 y/o divorced father and his daughter's 20 year-old friend who just found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. I like the hurt and comfort dynamic. I also like the sexual tension between an older man and a younger woman. Add in the context of them living together and we've got a perfect storyline!

I want our characters to bond and have good chemistry. They're attracted to each other and very compatible. All of this is satisfying in any context but especially with his status as a single, eligible bachelor. I think it's fun and adds a good layer to the story if there's nothing holding them back from being together. Same for him being this knight in shining armor of sorts for her. It's interesting to me to take vulnerability and have it soothed: have that hole filled in a way it never was before, and relatively fast after a dramatic breakup. Again, all with an older man. It's meaningful and extra exciting.

I'd love to write about a couple like this. Especially if we have a positive undercurrent to the story – attraction, romance, a serious relationship. That's much more appealing to me than something dark and degrading. I want a guy interested in sensuality and self-actualization. Even, gasp, vanilla! =D

Detail, slice of life, romance, what's not to love? If that sounds like you and your kind of story, please get in touch so that we can discuss and collaborate!
