Its glass-domed greenhouses glow at night with specimens unseen anywhere else, while the Tide Library floods twice a year, mysteriously bringing new books with the tide.
But beneath the academy's academic charm lies an unspoken secret: it was founded on a pact with the sea itself, and that pact is changing. Storms arrive out of season. Plants behave in ways no one can explain. Ancient manuscripts are said to rewrite themselves when the moon is high...
Your character is a part of the Thalassa Research Club. Researching the secrets that lie within the village surrounding and the university after a fire had claimed the building 100 years prior, with no survivors and no one brought to justice. Secrets had been buried under the rubble, burned away, and washed away by the sea. But now the ocean is bringing forth the truth.
I am seeking a small group of writers (3-4) for a slow-burn, character-driven roleplay.
If you enjoy moody coastal settings, mysterious libraries, forests that stretch out for miles, and the kind of magic that creeps in through the cracks rather than bursting through the door, this is the story for you!
I am looking for people who can post 1-2 times a week and are interested in a potentially longer RP. The posting range will be 300+ words. (You can write more if you are feeling it, but this amount gives people enough to work with, and also the option for a good back-and-forth conversation.) Starting point, Character sheets, and additional plotting will have their own thread. This is just an interest thread to see if anyone is interested in writing in a small group and in this setting
