The Watchers: Book 1 Loving the Fallen Light.
The World had ended and was reborn. Now creatures of all kinds ran around the earth. Some humans still remained. They were no longer the Majority but they were still plenty. Now the world was much darker then it had been before the sun only showed Twice in a week sometimes 3 but rarely more. Humans enjoyed that a lot. However it normally was cloudy, rainy and dark. Many different species all ran the world together. Sure there were still strifes but for the most part all was swell.
Till it wasn't, things began to change and not for the better. Days grew darker and allies turned foes. What had caused this mishap? The Fallen Light was missing or had been stolen. What is that you may ask? No one for sure knows all they know is that it keeps the balance of light and dark and without it things got very grim. The only way to know is the symbol engraved on it was a light bursting from black wings.
Now the world had underground beings called The Watchers. The Watchers were the Fallen ones angels who fell from grace but were given a task to protect the Fallen light. With it missing their job has increased to find it and return it. Now it's been a few Centuries and the world is in pieces.
Now it is evening the rain is falling hard As the Watchers remain ever vigilant looking for the one thing to restore peace. In the Rain a tall, slender, but had strength beyond a human should, female with stark white hair that was being soaked in the rain as she walked along the sidewalk. Now it's not only the Job for the watchers to find this light, but to protect humans in their fucked up world. On this particular evening YC has been on the hunt. They say the Fallen light was close by here and he being a higher up in the Fallen Angel order he has been hunting nonstop.
Mc is being followed by a car. It stops outside an alleyway. She turned down and a group of vampires got out. They cornered her and tried to entice her into the car. However she refused and when they reached for her is when the fight began. She fought for her freedom considerably well for a human to be honest. She was down to the last Vampire. Struggling a bit as she was knocked around. She got a hold of him, yet he turned the tables and knocked her head into the wall. She stumbled to the ground and tried to get up as his foot connected with her ribs. She crumpled to the ground, her head bleeding and her ribs cracked. The Vampire knelt picking her head up. She tried to stop him, but he just held her as he growled low.
However heavily booted footsteps were heard and as she tried to see through the rain she passed out due To her injuries. The Vampire ran from the spot as the Watcher had killed one of them. As YC kneels to check on her the sleeve of her jacket had been pushed up and on her arm was a tattoo that started to glow blue. She was the Fallen light? The Fallen Light would glow blue in a watcher's presence and her tattoo lit up like a Christmas tree. Yc Swears as he takes her in.
When MC wakes She is on a bed in dry clothes, the room was dimly lit as she slowly sat up holding her head and looking around. Where was she? What would happen to her? What will happen between them? Can he give her up to a life of torment for her to save the world and balance it or can they find another way?
