TRAUMA TEAM COVERAGE TIERS

*All Information has been pulled from the Trauma team Wiki and formatted to be writing-friendly.*

Overview

  • Coverage depends on how fast the response is.
  • What equipment and team you get.
  • What conditions are you're extracted under.
  • How much post-op care is provided (if any).

1. Silver Tier (Entry-Level)

Response Time: ~7–10 minutes
Extraction Conditions: Only safe zones. Trauma Team will not enter active combat zones for Silver-tier clients.
Team Deployment: 2 EMT on site, 1 security escort on site, AV-4 pick up to the nearest Ripper Doc
Post-Care: Basic medical stabilization, no long-term care
Limitations: You may die before they arrive if you're not in a secure area.

Silver-tier is popular with middle-class corpos and freelancers who want some protection, but it's often too little, too late.

2. Gold Tier (Mid-Tier Coverage)

Response Time: ~5–7 minutes
Extraction Conditions: Moderate risk zones. Trauma Team will deploy with combat gear if necessary.
Team Deployment: 2 EMTs, 2 security operatives, AV-4 airlift to nearest Ripper Doc or Night City Medical Center
Post-Care: Intermediate-level care
Extras: Includes ammo coverage for TT use and low-priority post-op meds

Gold-tier clients may survive dangerous hits, but delays are still possible in gang-infested zones.

3. Platinum Tier (Top-Tier, Corporate Elite Coverage)

Response Time: 3 minutes or less, guaranteed
Extraction Conditions: Any condition, including active firefights, NCPD lockdowns, and gang wars
Team Deployment: Full Trauma Team unit, Pilot, Co-Pilot, 2 Security, 2 EMTs, AV-4 airlift to corporate hospital.
Post-Care: Full surgical care, neural recovery, memory stabilization, cosmetic restoration
Extras: No questions asked. Covers use of lethal force, full gear and ammo, reconstructive procedures, and VIP recovery protocols

Platinum clients are practically immortal within city limits, unless their enemies make sure nobody is left to recover.

TRAUMA TEAM DEPLOYMENT — HOW IT WORKS

1. Trauma Team Chip
When the chip detects a medical problem, it immediately summons a Trauma Team to the client, the Trauma Team then stabilizes and extracts the patient.

2. Automated Dispatch
The system assesses your tier and deploys the appropriate team. The dispatch is automated and legally binding.TTI must respond if you're in coverage range.

3. Combat Clearance
For Gold and Platinum tiers, Trauma Team will secure the scene using non-lethal or lethal force. They do not engage targets unless directly threatened, unless the client is Platinum.

4. Medical Evacuation
After stabilization, the client is transferred to a Ripper Doc, Night City Medical Center, or a corp-designated hospital.

Footnotes:

  • In Cyberpunk 2077, Trauma Team appears in the prologue and side content.
  • Platinum coverage is referenced often as the only real safety net in Night City.
  • Trauma Team members operate like military units, fast, brutal, and efficient.

  • Platinum: "Straight Through the Heart"

    Location: Japantown Rooftops, Westbrook

Incident: Client was hit by a high-caliber sniper round mid-sentence during a holo-call. Surveillance footage failed to capture the shooter—cameras glitched seconds before the shot.

Objective: Stabilize and extract the client from the rooftop. AV pad controls are offline due to a localized network sync error. Anomalous signal interference reported on approach.

Notes: This is the third instance this week of camera blackouts preceding targeted hits. Recommend forensic net analysis.
  • Gold: "Open Market, Open Wounds"

    Location: Kabuki Market, Watson

Incident: Client collapsed mid-transaction at a Ripper Doc. Witnesses claim the cyberarm began to twist violently before severing itself.

Objective: Extract the client, administer neural suppression, and recover the rogue cyberlimb.

Notes: The entire market grid is suffering erratic power surges and ping lag. A secondary signal may have hijacked the arm's firmware. Recommend implant quarantine protocol.
  • Platinum: "Redline Response"

Location: Heywood Overpass, Vista Del Rey

Incident: Client's AV lost navigational control and spiraled into traffic. Data shows no signs of hacking. AI guidance systems went blind mid-flight.

Objective: Perform emergency extraction and stabilize spinal injuries. Retrieve flight core for analysis.

Notes: Flight AI reported "null directive" before blackout. Logs wiped. Possible code bleed originating from unfiltered Net regions.
  • Gold: "Glitched Pulse"

Location: Pershing Data Node Tower, Santo Domingo

Incident: Client, a contracted netrunner, collapsed during a maintenance session in a Tier-3 server stack. Bio-scan shows no trauma, but their bio-signature is fluctuating.

Objective: Evacuate the client to secure neurological data. Multiple drones in the area have gone unresponsive and now ignore command prompts.

Notes: The tower is maintained by an outdated AI load balancer, not on NetWatch's registry. Several ICE logs show Blackwall spikes.
  • Silver: "No Pulse, No Plan"

Location: Border Wall Exclusion Zone, Badlands

Incident: Client flatlined during a private delivery run. The signal from the biomonitor was delayed by 47 minutes due to unidentified packet rerouting.

Objective: Locate the client and extract the body. A blacked-out AV drone was reported circling the area before crashing into the rocks.

Notes: Client's internal tech stack was fully encrypted—even on Silver coverage. Recommend deep diagnostic and scrub for foreign runtime activity.
  • Platinum: "The VIP Needs a New Face"

    Location: Grand Imperial Mall, Pacifica

Incident: Client was injured during a high-risk business exchange. Smartglass surveillance glitched during the attack, and automated defenses did not deploy.

Objective: Enter the building, stabilize the client with facial trauma, and secure their cyberdeck. Local systems emit an unstable pulse—frequency matches rogue deep-Net signatures.

Notes: Whatever's leaking through the cracks isn't just data anymore.
  • Platinum: "Heartbeat of the Hollow"

Location: Abandoned Militech Testing Bunker, northern Watson

Incident: Platinum-tier corpo scheduled routine cyberware calibration. Site went dark at the same time a burst transmission flagged her vitals as flatlined, then restored.

Objective: Investigate and retrieve the client. Be advised: internal automated defenses have rebooted with outdated firmware.

Notes: Client's last Net login was a closed relay node marked as "deprecated" by NetWatch. Body may be present, but mind may not be.
  • [RESTRICTED]: "Ghost Protocol"

Location: Old Med Center Sub-Basement, Little China

Incident: Unauthorized activity flagged on Med Center's backup power grid. An unknown user accessed the cryo-pod storage. One pod opened—assigned client long presumed deceased.

Objective: Detain and assess the individual who emerged from the pod. They are claiming to be the client but are showing no readable biometrics.

Notes: Cryo systems hadn't been powered for five years. Security feed corrupted.
