Located roughly 135 miles (217.26 kilometers) west of the coast of northern California, Isle Tenebrae is an island spanning roughly 30 square miles (77.7 square kilometers) in size. The primary biome consists of temperate rainforest. The majority of the island is covered in redwood trees and ferns. The island has largely been overlooked by humans, save for a small colony built by the Spanish in 1781. This colony was later abandoned in 1821. When the residents left, they abandoned all of their livestock. To this day Isle Tenebrae has a sizable population of feral pigs and goats.
