I have been role playing for the last decade, just new to the site. I like to think of myself as descriptive, but I'll have to wait for your verdict on that. You can expect an average of 5 to 8 paragraphs per reply, (I would like if you could also write that much) sometimes quite a bit more if I get carried away. Third person, past tense. I won't write in the first person, hate how it reads and I am not my characters. I'm happy to dig up samples for anyone who would like one.

As far as smut, I don't like my role plays to be completely celibate, but I like for there to be a good balance between smut and story. What can I say? I need some lead up. The highest smut to plot ratio I would prefer is 30/70. Too much smut and I will get bored very quickly. I need a well driven plot, but I also can't carry one all on my own; I need some collaboration. That being said, I still love smut. I don't write overly submissive female characters.

Fantasy and romance are my bread and butter. If you come to me with an idea for one of those genres, I almost won't be able to turn you down.
Historical settings are a favorite. I have experience in a number of eras, and always willing to try something new
Slice of life is not to be discounted. But, alas, I live in the real world already so I don't always crave that.
Horror is fun, but I don't often have ideas for that particular genre, though I'd be happy to hear yours
Westerns have also been known to tickle my fancy
