The chapel echoed 8am. With giddy laughter, Myavi had wonderously lost herself within the paths of Astraea Hill. She spun into a happy tizzy, drinking in the delightful sights of the three schools. The greenery of the trees... the scent of the flowers... She marvelled at the towering Chapel. She gasped at the beautiful uniforms. She smiled at the horses at Spica. Her heart opened to the lake by the library. Myavi was entering her fourth year at St. Miator as a transfer student. While most of the other school girls were Japanese, she was of Eurasian decent. Her whispy close-cropped brown hair made her look almost boyish. Her petite frame and shorter height made her look almost younger than the other girls. Her naturally brownish skin made her look as if she had a tan. She had not yet received her new school uniform, and should have felt out of place in her own. But she was too busy welcoming to her senses the gracious beauty and splendor of the three campuses.
But with her head in the clouds was the earth neath her feet. Myavi took a wrong step and was falling forward, unable to stop her tumble down one of the rolling cul de sacs of Astraea. She found herself, again, in view of the chapel and at the foot of the beautiful blue lake. Picking herself up, she brushed away the leaves and dirt on her white sailor uniform, as she wandered around the wooded grove. "Where am I?" her voice trailed. "I'm going to be late..." she thought to herself. And then, as she turned around, she met face-to-face the captivating silver-haired woman, the student dressed in the black uniform. She was lost again, but, this time, within the beauty of Etoile.
