Issue Cant make a journal

Not yet made my 3 posts, but the bot message says

"You can make your own Journal."

And then the link leads to a page that, for me, says

"You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

Are you able to make a journal thread now that your name is blue? I know in the FAQ it states

• You will need to wait twenty-four hours after joining and make three posts in the forums for your account to be automatically upgraded to full membership.
• Probationary/grey username members cannot view people's profiles, start PM conversations, or edit their threads during the grey period. However you can receive PMs still. This is normal and will change when your account auto-upgrades.
  • Probationary/grey username members cannot see the Off-Site Request Forums until they are full members.

Now that you are blue, you should have full access to the site and other forum options that were not available. I'm maybe missing it, but I don't see anywhere it states you wouldn't be able to make a journal while grey, but you should be able to now that you are a full member.

Yeah, I can make one now, that's no problem. Just had to reply to some other things instead.

Not sure why it wouldn't let me with a grey name, though. So still worth bringing up, at least.

Most likely because when grey, you aren't a full-member and have limited access to the site. Journals must be one of them, but I can't find anywhere that it states journals cannot be created, so maybe something staff can look into editing in for future members that join.

Maybe, but that's the issue. The bot message all newcomers get states, specifically, that you can reach your 3 posts with this line.

"You can make your own Journal."

So either it needs to be allowed to newcomers or the bot message needs to be changed.
