     W E L C O M E           P L O T            P R O L O G U E     

• This is a story set in the future - perhaps sometime in the next 50 - 100 years. It's a blend of   Sci-Fi   ,   Dystopian   , and   Psychological   genres - with vibes of Blade Runner, Black Mirror, and some of Total Recall. I'm looking to write against a female character. She may be dominant, submissive or switch, all or none of these - it's your call! As for you, the writer, I'm looking for someone who will collaborate, conjure some ideas with me and co-create something together that explores themes of   identity   ,   corruption   , and   fate vs choice  . This is ɴᴏᴛ a kink-first story. I'm looking for something very plot-driven, character-focused and with character development too, as our characters work through their emotions and question their reality. Here's what I put a strong focus on - especially for a story like this: ❶ Writer fit and compatibility ❷ The themes being explored ❸ The plot and story direction ❹ Sufficient overlap of our kinks * 1 & 2 are the most important here to me. The plot is very much open to your input and suggestions. This is something I'd like us to craft and shape together!​

• Society is experiencing chronic loneliness; people are constantly interacting with each other in a very transactional and frantic manner that leaves precious little time for any sort of deeper, meaningful connections and relationships with one another. Companies and conglomerates have invested huge amounts of money developing and refining AI behaviours and synthetic skin – resulting in the release of Companion Bots, practically indistinguishable from other humans. ❶ The very first series of Companions are sold to the very wealthy and perform a wide range of general tasks for their human. ❷ Before long, a second upgraded and improved series was released – Series 2 models. ❸ Many of the unwanted first series were then utilised as strippers/escorts/nightclub/sex workers in the seedier parts of society. ❹ Reports and rumours of glitches spark worries of these Series 2 model Companions attaining sentience, triggering some societal backlash on the ethics of using synthetic humanoids in this fashion – the corporations are keen to quash these concerns, especially as a new, even more advanced model was being developed. ❺ Your character is an early-stage prototype for the Series 3 models. ❻ My character was in an actual real relationship with another human woman – they were some of the very few who managed to pair up due to family pressures/arranged marriage. She chose to break it off, and he is now divorced – a rare thing in society, as so few get married in the first place now...​

• "Computing power doubles about every two years." ~ paraphrase of Moore's Law​ Towards the latter end of this century, the world began to undergo a global wave of profound changes in political ideologies, sociological beliefs, and huge cultural shifts in attitudes. These changes were predicted, and some might even argue inevitable, but then, everything is always obvious with the benefit of hindsight. Regardless, few were genuinely prepared to navigate the turbulent times. Fears of SkyNet never quite lived up to the hype. Judgment Day never arrived. Shockingly, neither did aliens nor the complete self-destruction of the globe. Instead, the fabric of society, of communities, of human connections and relationships began to decay. Over the last few decades, perhaps as early as 2055, chronic isolation and loneliness reached unprecedented levels. Society experienced increasingly meaningless interactions, all mostly transactional and frantic which exhausted the energies of the population. It left precious little time for any sort of deeper, genuine, meaningful connections and relationships with one another. As they had ever since their conception and existence, megalith companies and global conglomerates identified an opportunity and a need in the market: companionship. These entities had been investing huge amounts of capital developing artificial intelligence and refining artificial behaviours. ABI, Artificial Behavioural Intelligence, soon became the primary focal research area over this period of time. Meanwhile, deploying AI in furthering the advancement of synthetic materials, accelerated the development of synthetic human skin. At first, it was used in medical applications, for reconstructive cosmetic surgeries. It was only a matter of time before its application found its way onto humanoid robotic constructs. The first iteration of human-like bots began production, and after more investment and growing interest, as well as a growing need in the market, the culmination of all these areas resulted in the release of the Companion bots – practically indistinguishable from humans. Moore's Law taught us to expect more—more speed, more power, more change. But it never warned us what we'd sacrifice just to keep up.​

I enjoy slow burners, building tension and character development. Collaborative plotting and planning of ideas and story direction.
