RP styles?

How would you describe your roleplaying style/what is your preferred style?

I don't think I have a preference, but I do usually like my partner to start it off so I can see their writing style & mirror it. Not copy it exactly, but match their energy haha!

I don't know if that's typical or not. I have done a lot of roleplay in erotic chat rooms or whatever so I've had to quickly pick up someone's style to have a cohesive interaction.

I wouldn't exactly say I have a style when it comes to rping. I think one thing I have noticed or someone had pointed it out but I usually prefer having my dialogue with the description of things going down. I imagine not everyone does this but it is something that I do that might not be what others do. I'm not really sure how to answer as to a style in itself.

I usually stick to two paragraphs so I often try and like put all I can in there without straining myself or going overboard. While I hope for my rp partner to like match me there I also realize some might do longer though there are some who do the mirror thing just so they have a grasp of what the other person is putting down. It can be difficult though matching someone on pacing or what they are bringing to the table as again some rpers kind of do their own thing or they bring a certain level of energy to their post.
