"Well it'll be a pleasure to have you Drew." Jacobson said as he extended a hand to me.

"I look forward to working with all of you" I replied, my voice steady despite the thrill bubbling inside me. I grasped his hand confidently, then made my way down the line, shaking hands with each of the senior partners.

This was it. The real beginning.

It had all finally paid off, all those long nights, missed events, hours cramming. It was my first job out of law school and it was at one of the top law firms in the country.

But in that moment, it was pure pride.

Hours Later

I finally saw the exit after what felt like ages on the road. It felt good to be back home after so long, and it would be quite the homecoming celebration.

"Alright, I'll talk to you later, sweetie," Stacy chirped on the other end of the line. I could hear her smile through the phone.

I opened the car door and was hit with the familiar scent of a backyard barbecue. I could hear all the commotion in the backyard before I even rounded the corner. I stepped around the side of the house and into the backyard, where about twenty of my closest friends and family burst into cheers and applause. Banners hung between trees, coolers overflowed with beer and soda, and someone had already cranked the music loud enough to shake the lawn chairs. Faces I hadn't seen in far too long lit up as they turned toward me.

"Congratulations baby" Mom came running up, misty eyed, she'd always been a sentimental one.

"We're proud of you son" He clapped a hand on my shoulder and shook my hand.

Then I saw you Aunt Dana. You had always been my favorite aunt growing up, very much the cool aunt, I'd always had a blast with you. The best Christmas presents every year. You were the one who slipped me my first beer behind the garage when I was fifteen and swore me to secrecy with a wink. You made holidays actually fun. I hadn't seen you in what felt like years.

"Aunt Dana?!" I called out, striding toward you with a grin as wide as the summer sky. I pulled you into a hug. "It's been forever. Last time I saw you, you were…" I mimed a big pregnant belly and laughed.
Motherhood had aged you like a fine wine, there was no denying it. You were a bombshell of a woman, you had kept your figure even after two kids. Your curves still turned heads, well my head at least, you looked better than ever. I tried not to stare, but it was impossible not to notice. You were impossible not to notice.

"You hear all alone"? I asked. I'd heard the rumors of what was going on between you and your husband of course. I towered over you but looked into your eyes eager to hear more about you.

When I first saw you, I raised my eyebrows. You had indeed grown up quite fine. Very good looking.

I looked up at you curious.

"It has been a while.. God.. yes.. " I laughed, my breasts jiggling underneath my dress.
I noticed he was taking a very bold appreciative stare at them.
I thought "Whoa ... he has grown ... and quite boldly too."
His eyes were easy on my breasts - very easy. It put me at ease as well. I did not mind at all him taking an appreciative gander.

"Yeah.. I am here alone... Frank has been busy trying to close some of those oil contracts so he has been.... very busy."

I noticed that you were very tall as you got closer, and I could smell a mix of some nice, tastefully applied men's cologne and your natural clean smell.
I knew my man smells. Not sure why... my nose was very well trained.
Felt and smelt like you were getting some very good guidance from a woman or got some in the past.

"How long are you here for and what are you doing now?" I asked, looking up at him, almost craning and straining my neck in the process.

I smiled, catching the laugh in your voice and yes, the way your chest bounced with it. You still had that spark, that playful energy that made me gravitate toward you. "I gotta say," I added with a slow smile, "you haven't changed a bit, Aunt Dana. Actually, scratch that you look even better. Glowing, really."

I hadn't even realized I'd been staring until you mentioned Frank, and I blinked, straightening slightly. I took a step closer, hands sliding into my pockets casually, I looked down and could see right down your plunging neckline. Towering over you forcing you to crane you neck up. We were mere inches apart

"And Frank's still off chasing oil money and tail, huh?" I said, letting my words lingering just enough to say what I didn't. "Shame. He's missing a hell of a view tonight."

I paused, eyes locking with yours again.

"Well, I've got a couple weeks before I start," I said, voice low, easy. "Figured I'd come home, catch my breath a little. Celebrate with the people who matter." Giving you a knowing wink.

"But enough about me. How is the city council" Growing up your wild, and probably sanitized, tales and travels always excited me. I tilted my head, curious, reading your expression. "Wasn't sure that was your thing, to be honest. I always pictured you climbing into a Jeep and driving off to Baja or something, not getting stuck in boring committee meetings and zoning proposals."

I leaned in a little, lowering my voice so the others behind us wouldn't hear. "Tell me the truth, Aunt Dana… are you loving it, or are you just playing the part for now?"
