It's currently set at 100k characters. It can be increased if needed.
The database limit is 16 megabytes, where a character takes from 1-4 bytes. Most emojis are 4 bytes for example. ASCII characters take 1 byte (generally anything you can type on a US keyboard), and most international characters are 2-3 bytes.
