AI is good tool to create illustration for the story

I find generative AI either GPT or gemini is a good tool to create illustration for the create story. I always like writing DID trope of policewoman , how she got captured, how she got transferred while keep bound and gagged, how her captor interrogate her...except for the annoying censorship from these tools, they did quite good job enhance presentation of the story, what's your thoughts? AI has no human element in it, uses exorbitant amounts of electricity (and therefore pollution), and is worse than getting an actual artist to make a work via commission.

Commissions aren't cheap, if you want a decent pic, but it's better in a multitude of ways.

Unless there was somehow a situation, item, design, or otherwise that I absolutely could not get across with written word alone I personally see no value in utilizing AI for artwork in roleplays. At best it can be helpful to get a rough idea of something you might want for a character design if no other artwork exists to point to but, even then, I find it very distracting and prefer to avoid it.
