I'm back and looking to rp again!

Okay so I was told to be blunt so blunt I shall be.

I'm a thirty something writer with plenty of experience so no worries there. The average length of my posts mostly depends on what's going on and how much you've given me to work with. If I had to put a number to it I'd say the average is about 2-3 paragraphs. I keep my typos to a minimum and tend enjoy drama only when it's kept in character. I'm totally open to other people's ideas so feel free to throw them at me if you think we'd click.

I've been away for something like six or seven years which feels weird just to say. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things so please be patient with me. I can usually post a few times a day but weekends can get a bit sketchy for me. The exception usually being Sundays. I'm usually online most of the day Sunday. If I'm going to be gone for any length of time I'll do my best to keep you in the loop.

One last note, I don't do m x m roleplays. I am guilty of enjoying watching two women together but two men simply fall short of arousing me. I'm also not a big anime guy which I know makes me a part of a minority here. I'll admit that I'm not big on using anime pictures and wouldn't be able to participate in most anime fandoms.

With that nonsense out of the way let's talk about what I'm actually looking for.

I'm pretty open to working with people to come up with a plot and pairing(s) that they think we'll both enjoy. I'm not the least be afraid of playing multiple characters and so if you'd like, feel free to ask.

Here is my F-list just to give you some ideas that way. I haven't gone completely through their MASSIVE list completely so if you don't see something on there then feel free to ask. It's also a fairly old f-list that probably needs updated a bit. As soon as I figure out what my login info was I'll get on that.

The following pairings and ideas are all totally negotiable. If there's even just an element of some of the ideas that you like then please say something and we'll work something out. Also I think it's worth pointing out that I love communal relationships (actual relationships involving more than two people) and on the opposite side of that, I love playing out love triangles where a woman is torn between two men. Despite keeping the drama in my real life to a minimum I think that in roleplay it just keeps things interesting. I'm also a fan of any kind of a relationship that society might deem as unacceptable or taboo in a situation where those things don't matter so much. This comes through nicely in post apoc settings.


Original Ideas

I haven't played since high school but playing the newest PC games gave me an idea for doing a story based around the concept of Lonestar. Partners working the mean streets of Seattle circa 2055. I'm pretty open with this like I am with most of my ideas. Hit me up and maybe we can put something together.

Zombie Apocalypse
I'm almost always down for this setting but admittedly this is a pretty old idea. I'm leaving it here because I'll always do a zombie plot. My personal favorite is using the Romero movies as a model where zombies are slow moving and and not so dangerous in small numbers. I don't do talking zombies (despite my love for the Return of the Living Dead movies!) and I'm not a huge fan of weird mutant zombie creatures (despite my love of the Resident Evil movies.) I like the idea of using zombies the way Romero did...like a disaster setting where the disaster is a zombie plague where it's about the characters, the break down of society and it's norms, survival.

Story wise I love doing things based on The Walking Dead series or something like it. Small groups of survivors and looking at how things change when there is no society...I usually have a bunch of ideas and can incorporate elements that you might want.
  • I have an idea, that's a little Herbert Westy-Day of the Deady that I wouldn't mind doing. The idea is that a female survivor who's a bit of a bad ass finds her way to a military instillation and is allowed in. Once there she discovers that the place is being run by an Army scientist who has been studying the zombies in the hopes of finding a way to wipe them out en mass. These two end up forming and bond and a relationship develops....That's all I've got at the moment but would love to discuss/develop it further.
Nuclear Holocaust/Post-Apocalypse
I don't mind doing cannon settings like Fallout or Mad Max or something like that and I also don't mind original settings. Much as with the zombie apoc setting there's a variety of pairings that can be done here and a lot of different directions that the game could go in.

FALLOUT
I have a few ideas I'd really like to try in this setting. For those willing, I'd even be willing to play through the plot of some of the games with the focus being on a romance between our characters or something like that. Really, I just don't get enough Fallout in my life so I'd be eager to do something with the setting.

Pairings I'd like:
  • Iron General x Curie
  • Iron General x Cait
  • Vault Dweller x Vault Dweller
  • Others to be added!

Now, what do I mean by Iron General?

WARNING: MILD SPOILERS FOR FALLOUT 4
Well it's a build I picked up from a YouTuber for Fallout 4. The concept being that the Sole Survivor first hooked up with the brotherhood of steel and was loyal until they asked him to betray Danse. It was then that he hooked up with the Minutemen full time and became their general. He's a fan of power armor and heavy weapons.

Ghoul Courier: An idea for a New Vegas story
Even if we didn't follow the story of New Vegas, I'd love to play a ghoul just trying to survive in the wasteland. Can someone love him despite his looks? Can friendships blossom in the Mojave when it's full of slavers and Caesar's Legion? I would really enjoy discussing this idea so hit me up if you'd like to develop something.

I work full time and have a fairly long list of hobbies so I'm not usually going to be on for huge lengths of time. Weekends mostly, and the occasional day off here an there. Please be patient, I'll always get a response to you and I try to keep my partners informed if I'm going to be gone for any extended periods of time. I'm open to playing in PM's, IM's, or threads.

I told you before, but I'll tell you again..... YAY BLUNT-NESS! ;)
Plus.... this will give you that lovely little 'bump'! And methinks we'll have to RP at some point in the near-ish future too. That is, if my tastes and style work with your own, lol.
