Issue No Longer Receving Notifiations for PMs

I've noticed for maybe the last month or so that I no longer receive notifications when I get a PM. I'm receiving notifications for pretty much everything else (including reactions to messages in PMs), but regardless of which browsers I've used (both Chrome and Brave, and both mobile and desktop), I don't receive notifications when I get a new private message. Is this happening to anyone else?

I do still get notifications, but they're sometimes sporadic. I went into my profile settings and checked & reset my notification settings and that seemed to make them a bit more stable or as expected.

I reckon you mean desktop notifications, not e-mail notifications?

Make sure you don't have any power saving stuff enabled, which can put the browser or tab to sleep if you haven't touched it for a while -- until you open it again, at which point the notification is kinda moot. I imagine this is especially a factor on mobile, but there might've been a desktop Chromium update that does something similar. I've never enabled notifications on mobile, but on desktop Firefox notifications have been working just fine.

It can vary and depends on the browser used. Example: I can receive notifications via Edge, but I’ve got to make sure that anytime you clear the cache and browsing history, that can have an impact.
On iPad with Safari, it won’t show a pop-up like on a PC. But if you have email notifications, that is one way to be notified (just make sure to clear said emails afterwards)
