I am a new member here and I am extremely excited to begin working with some of you all on potential roleplays! For my first request thread, I am looking for someone who is willing to take on a GM role in a slice of life roleplay! In the future I may broaden my horizons a bit but I will likely try and find a partner in that niche first as it's a genre of role-playing I truly enjoy!
I love building a world with my partners and truly getting that base set before starting a roleplay as I find that it truly does pay off in the end, too many times I have found myself wondering where a roleplay was going or what my partner enjoyed out of it and then the scene just dies off because one party loses interest.
I just ask for open and honest communication both during the roleplay and while the world building process is underway as I believe that being honest is the best way to get what you want out of a role-playing partnership!
Now for the prompts!
The Collegiate Experience: I would love to build a world where we follow my MC who would be a college student! We can take many different directions on who exactly he is but I am more than comfortable playing a broad range of characters! I can either be a star student athlete who everyone on campus is at least somewhat aware of, or we can have my character be a nobody and we can see how the life of the average student unfolds! I would love to not only explore the sexual aspects of the scene but just the daily life of my character! Is he a student athlete in this modern era who is making millions of dollars while just waiting out his time to go to the pros? Or is he your average student taking on a part time job to keep those student loans down?
The People You Meet on Vacation: For this idea, I am thinking more of a one-on-one slow burn angle where we play two strangers who meet on vacation! This wouldn't be as conducive to a GM so that won't be necessary for this story! I am thinking this would take place in a bit more of a confined environment like an all-inclusive resort or a cruise ship where it is a bit more logical that our characters can have a few chance unintentional encounters before they begin planning to spend time together! I would like for this to be fairly long term and potentially even extend beyond the vacation!
Either way, I am sorry for the wall of text and plan to work on putting this in a better format in the future.
I hope to hear from some of you to start building some amazing worlds together! Again, I am open to suggestions so if you have any ideas you'd like to discuss feel free to message me! I won't bite and the worst I can say is no!
