Semi-literate to advanced lit. Exact length varies per post, based off what is currently going on in the RP itself. Third person. Looking for historical fantasy (given the whole selkie thing) rather than historical realism.
I reply multiple times a day, though I may skip a day or two should a health-flare up occur. If I'm going to be inactive for a bit due to work deadlines, I will let you know ahead of time. I just ask you not to spam me for a response; I work from home, so me being online doesn't mean I'm available for back-to-back replies.
While I'm flexible with the exact plot, I'm generally desperate for my poor selkie to get his skin stolen by your character. Someone obsessive, fascinated. If younger (and especially human), a bit of a cocky upstart type.
What your character is, exactly? That's what I'm open about! I have a heavy preference for a pirate, bandit, thief, etc. I am also fine with a merchant, lighthouse keep, satyr, or landbound fae! Or literally anything else. I just want my boy to be stranded. Your character can be sickeningly sweet or rather sadistic. They must be quite amoral, regardless.
Pacing of the RP itself will be a bit slice-of-life, despite these dark themes. I want to explore the domesticity and depressive state a stranded selkie would be forced into normalizing. Side plots and dynamics can be discussed and split up the further we get into the story, to build out the world and main plot more.
