![]() ![]() ![]() Hey guys, I am feeling particularly inspired for a primitive, almost prehistorical game centered around tribal lifestyles, politics and low levels of technology. I am thinking of a realistic fantasy setting based on the vibes of the videogame King of Dragon Pass that incorporates various real life elements into an amalgamation of interesting set pieces. I am undecided on the more fantastical elements of such a world - there's an avenue to include beastmen and prehistoric lifeforms (dinosaurs) but I am not 100% certain that they will fit in every game or that I will want to write about them. Technology wise I envision the world to be in various states of advancement: some tribes have mastered chariots and horses, others have figured out (very limited quantities) of iron smelting, while others yet are completely nomadic still. Society in a way reflects this, but for the most part there is enough overlap and recency between these advancements that everyone remembers a shared past of nomadic tribalism, so there's no concept of civilized vs. barbarian between these people. I'm hoping to include some sort of foreign enemy horde of sorts that gives the people in the region a reason to unite, but also still have the tribes be petty and squabble a lot. If you're interested in writing about epic saga's with tribal intrigue, please send me a PM! I'd love to hear your ideas about what character you'd like to play, or what you have envisioned for such an RP. I'm a big fan of plotting together, and I'd hate to lock us into a plot right away, so I prefer to discuss plots with my partner. I have included a little moodboard type thing below so you can get a better feeling for the aesthetics and setting I'm trying to go for here. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
