I'm seeking a female writing partner for a dark story, to write a strong female witch who makes a desperate bargain when she is out of all other options.
A young witch, desperate, bleeding, hunted by foul creatures that plan to rend her life and soul from her body, stumbled into forbidden ruins. Her enemies surround the place, snarling at the boundaries, but some force keeps them out. Forging deeper, she finds a holy shrine, long forgotten, dedicated to a nameless divinity.
Buried under dust and debris from centuries of neglect, there thrums a power that is etched in arcane runes on the very bedrock of this place. Power waiting to be called, to be used by someone who's blood carries the potential for magic.
Feeling the aura around her and thinking it is some nameless god, she cries out, begging for aid, for anyone to hear her plea. She offers herself, her body, her soul for the power needed to drive this evil from her land and save her people.
A sacrifice is needed, a spark to feed the ritual, kneeling in the middle of the room, crying, bleeding, the droplets fall to the floor and trickle onto the runes. They begin to glow, slowly, pulsing like a heartbeat, it spreads from one to the next, like a clock that hasn't moved in centuries. Like a beast that has slept for an eon and is slowly stretching out, the power awakens.
Something has heard her prayers, but it wasn't a god…
Premise: Character A, a young witch, desperately prays for help and ends up summoning a demon instead. Character B, an ancient, seductive demon, whose help comes at a heavy price: a pact sealed with flesh, blood and her submission to him.
Character A must enter into an infernal contract. Each night, she must offer him her body. The two grow closer, bonding to each other. Her own dark magic increases with every intimate embrace. They feed off each other's essence and the demon's grip on her grows stronger along with her craving for him. By the time she is strong enough to stand and fight on her own and refuse the demon, will she want to?
