This is my first post so I don't really know how to make it all pretty like other people
It was a week before the beginning of the fall semester of my freshman year of college and time for all of the new students to move in. This already would have been a time of high anxiety and stress for any student, but it was a hundredfold for me. You see, about a month prior I had received a notice from the school with my roommate information. I was a bit excited when it showed up in the mail and eagerly ripped it open to see who it would be and to try and get in contact with them before the start of the semester, but when I read the information it didn't feel quite right. This was not a name I had heard any man have before. I tried to look up the person in question on instagram, facebook, and even LinkedIn but I couldn't find the right person until I came across a single post:
"I am so so excited to announce that I have been accepted to XX University and will be pursuing a Bachelor's in YY! I am so excited to see what the future holds!"
This caption was under a picture of a very beautiful woman. My college, the same first and last name, and the major was the same as the person listed on the sheet of paper. This girl was going to be my roommate for the next year. I think about what I should do and the first thing that comes to mind is to call the office of student affairs at the university to try and figure out how this happened. All I learned was that there was a large influx of new students needing housing this year and they filled up very fast and needed to pair up a male and female student because of it. It just so happened that we were the unlucky duo to get stuck with it. The only good thing to come out of this is that we were assigned to one of the nicest buildings on campus with apartment style, 2 bed 1 bath plus kitchen, units and only had to pay the same price as the low end student housing.
Now back to the present, I am standing at the door to our room with my backpack on and one of my boxes in my arms, all that I was able to bring up in one trip from my car, nervous to go in. I insert my key, unlock the door, and slowly open the door to see... END OF PLOT
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this! This is a slowburn romance roleplay that I have been wanting to find a really good partner to play with for a while. I took a while to write this out as I am honestly not TOO detailed of a writer and more prefer to write what is needed (and sometimes get really detailed) for my roleplays. If this looks at all fun to you I'd love to talk in DMs about the plot and our characters for it. I really like to really flesh out that kind of stuff before starting out so there is no need to send a starter or anything like that, just a nice introduction would be more than enough.
