Look at the crowd. John thought as he did just that. The crowd in the packed arena was of course going ballastic. Madison Beer, as usual, just about brought the house down, figureatively, of course, and John didn't bother to hide the smile on his face. Madison had been an unknown when she came to his attention, but he'd taken a chance on her, and said chance had paid off in spades. Better than even she knew, as he'd gotten into the habit of inflating the costs and thus underreporting the profits from her tours. But even that hadn't been enough. He wanted more. More money, more power, and he knew just how to get it. '' He turned from hsi postion on the overlook of the stage as Madison performed her encore, and headed for the dressing room.
"I've got it from here. Make sure you secure the backstage extra tight tonight. She's had some threats, and we don't want to take chances." he told the security guard, who nodded and deployed his men. It was a lie...Madison hadn't had any more threats than usual, but the guard didn't know that, and it was a good way to make sure the back stage was not only deserted, but secured. If...when...Madison screamed, no one woudl be around to hear her, and in the unlikely event she got out of ehr dressing room, all the doors would be locked.
John passed through the now deserted hallway into Madison's dressing room. She only had it for the one night, so there weren't any personal touches in there, at least none she had initiated. There was, of course, the couch, long enough for even hsi 6'6" frame to lay on...that would be important later. And the mirror above the dressing table was special order, this one came complete with a camera inside. He'd had to pay a little extra to secure the venue early so he had time to install it, but it was well worth it. All those people who paid just to hear her sing...what would they pay to see her raped? Yes, the cameras were an investment that would pay divedends.
Just for fun, John looked in the mirror. He wasn't the suit and tie type, but he was a professional, so he thought the polo shirt was a nice compromise. he also worked for a living, and the blue jeans and tennis shoes he wore were a testement to that, he felt. The close cropped black hair was a remnant from his military days. John glanced up at the speaker as Madi, as he'd know call her if she liked it or not, gave her farewells to the crowd, and he leaned agaisnt the far wall to wait for her entrance. Not only to the room, but to her new life.
