Riniel sat in the cart alone, her wrists bound to the top of her cage, and her ankles shackled to the hoop in the bottom of the cage. Her body unlike the other girls was covered, they had weakened her by placing a collar on her to sap the energy from her ever since she became of age, and here she sat in the cold cage alone, a beautiful little treasure and worth barrels of gold to her people, but she had been kidnapped so long ago that she had forgotten who she was, and all she had was a first name, while the slave traders had her belongings from when they had taken her, a signet ring on a silver chain, a choker with her family crest and what looked to be a forehead tiara that would drape over the forehead and down to just above her eye brows. She had been taken a couple of times, but due to the collar her virginity was given back to her and so she had to suffer and endure the pain over and over again, learning all there was to learn, her price so high that many of royal blood could not buy her, not only because she was a virgin, but an elf as well.
Her long dark brown hair flowed to her mid back, and was pulled back by a rich purple ribbon, her torso was covered by a dark purple corset and her legs were hidden by a silk silver skirt. Her eyes were a bright violet shade, the color of the royal family of elves in the north but not many knew that, even though they still sought out to find their daughter, the only heir to the throne. She sat in her cage calmly, usually a very kind and sweet girl but only to the other slaves, she hated the slavers for kidnapping people and enslaving them, and each girl cared for each other when they could. After years she was a little jumpy, and easy to frighten since when she disobeyed they would whip her for all the others to see, but that was not to say she did not have a sharp tongue with her trainer, but she knew when she should give in and do as she was told.
At the moment the caravan was traveling through a very humid woods, one that was said to be haunted, but they had a dead line they had to make and so they drugged the girls to keep them from running off incase the tales were true, so they could not run and get themselves killed, except for Riniel, she had to be sedated another way, with magic, so she was woozy and a little weak as the other girls were, all of them either half awake or sleeping. The trees were frightening as the night began to slowly creep over the land, There was not a single sound now, everything was silent, not even a crickets chirp could be heard, and near the roads all the plants looked dead, even though away from the roads was lush and green with life, as well as dangerous things.
